Vic POV

These kind of nights were always comforting to me, quiet and only nature sounds, the forest, the moon everything it was amazing.

I'm not one person to take a lot of time off work, it's just that I like having something to do and work on constantly, rocket corp is ascending more everyday, that means more employes, more departments, more security, more equipment, more sponsors, more publicity, lots of things!

It might sound overwhelming to others but for me its a hobby, having everything planned makes me feel peaceful.

And I have dedicated my best to rocket corp it feels kinda weird not having something to do, I'm just out here because mitsi convinced me to take a walk around, have some fresh hair have a little break.

I'm not planing to expend more than 10 minutes outside salvage animals can appear at any moment, the city is very dangerous at night-

What would children be doing here!? It's not a zone were children play! What could they do here in the middle of the night! Maybe lost? The red hair kid looks like it has been crying!

After that I stopped hearing mitsi had appeared after some minutes, some paramedics took the children and I was sent to the "calm down" room, all I wanted was to see the kids I needed to know what they were or what they had, I needed to be there to protect them! They would be scared!

Ok... It was reasonable! I just had to sleep and wait for the next day! Very easy! Mitsi has always helped me fall asleep it won't be difficult! I just have to sleep it off!

Agent POV

Well what a day huh?

At least I got vic to sleep a little while, those children. They looked hurt at least they're getting medical care, to think that Vic panicked again after 3 months of not doing so.

We were doing well! Everything "cursor" related scares them a lot, i don't understand it but what I do know it's that it damaged Vic's mental health a lot and physical too.

It's always in June when Vic starts getting sick, they start hallucinating and just going downhill, it's always the hardest month for them, either me or mitsi have to be at their side at all times, the worst thing, is that in June is his birthday!

Imagine passing your birthday all sick and hallucinating! Don't know the exact date but I do know that it's in June.

What I'm going to it's that definitely that "cursor" made lots of damage to Vic, the scars are enough to see that, at least they're sleeping and calming down.

I have to see the children right... Those poor things the oldest looked more damaged, scars everywhere even the doctors seemed shocked!

Who could even damage little children! Vic was talking about them being created by the cursor, like them! Vic it's still a mystery to me and mitsi! Don't know if I will ever know them fully, they are full of mysteries.

-mister agent?- ah, the nurse just as expected

-well the younger one seems to be waking up- oh, sorry Vic seems like you won't be present in this maybe I could send someone to wake you?

-you might want to be present- the nurse calling made me go back to reality

I enter with the nurse guiding me, the enfermary was really big, a lot of accidents can happens in here, all the machinery and some un careful employees can end up hurting others, when rocket corp it's too far of the city and at the same time far from the hospital, we prevented it and made a tiny hospital inside of this, it's just for threatening some workers if they're very bad we stabilize them and then get them to the proper hospital.

We can't let our employees get hurt or die!

-here they are, for preventing anything we put the two besides each other please be quiet to not wake the other one-

-got it, anything I need I will call you fern- fern leaved just when I finished, nurses are really busy! Good thing I didn't study medicine, thank you dad!

The child seemed conscious and scared, understandable I would be scared if I was on a unknown place, he seem to be standing up?!

Also the regeneration most of his injuries have healed completely leaving only little scars!

Vic was not like that definitely, he worked like any normal stick would do, the proof is the scars under all of his clothing he still doesn't say where they came from but he will say it once he's ready

Also the power thing, wtf! Never have I meet a stick with powers or even considered that, it was just a fiction thingy never thought a stick could actually develop powers and especially this young, would they even know the potential of powers at this little age? Of course not!Because they're a kid! A kid!

-so... About your powers, when did you develop them?-

-develop? I was created with them!- oh- wait- what!? Created just popping with them! It would be so overstimulating for any stick! Maybe that's what happened to the other one? Generated with the other but their powers were way more overstimulating? Makes a bit of sense but we haven't had lots of new generations but it's not like it's impossible

-Vic, calm down, let's just get back to the room to calm down, slow and steady- I slowly approach, I never want to scare them in any way it would make things 100% worse

-the cursor! It's back! It will find me and the kids! They're in danger! I'm in danger! You and mitsi are in danger!-

-nobody will be in danger everyone will be fine and the kids are gonna be fine, the cursor will not find you-
