🔶Youth/Adult class (afternoon shift with Miss A)
The subjects that ymbrynes study are:
- Metamorphosis 🔸: subject where ymbrynes learn how to transform into birds safely and learn how to fly and control their animal instincts.
- Loopology🔶: advanced time control. How to create loops and other unstable and dangerous temporal skills such as making a quilt.
- Peculiarity🔶🔸: Subject where you learn all the different types of peculiarities and their respective "classes" and how to deal with each of these types.
- Normality 🔶🔸: Classes on how to look like a normal, non-peculiar person regardless of the time period.
- Disguise and camouflage 🔶: How to disguise yourself and disguise peculiarities in the normal environment.
- Languages 🔶🔸: this is self-explanatory. It is to help ymbrynes communicate with children from countries where English is not their native language.
- Old peculiar 🔶🔸: although it is rarely used, ymbrynes need to know Old peculiar to communicate with ancient peculiars, or to study subjects from peculiar history.
- Peculiar literature 🔸🔶: in the childhood phase it consists of reading tales, in the youth phase it is where you learn to unravel the mysteries in the tales, and read other books written by peculiar writers.
- Peculiar History 🔸🔶: Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it. Ymbrynes need to know the history of their people in order to educate their children and be aware of the problems their people have faced over the years and how the ancients solved their problems, in addition to knowing historical figures who were peculiar.
- Peculiar Politics🔶: One of the most difficult subjects, even though most Ymbrynes only work in the government for 30% of their time, they are required by law to effectively participate in peculiar politics. They manage the Peculiardom and must know how to govern it with justice. In this subject, the ymbrynes learn to administer Peculiardom.
- Photography and Documentation 🔶: This is a very bureaucratic subject of how Ymbrynes must document their new children for the Peculiar Archive. Photography is very important to this culture. The ymbrynes learn to take and develop photos with cameras from different eras, and they also learn how to make detailed files about each peculiar child.
- Erasing memories 🔶: An art that not all ymbrynes master, but very useful, it is very specific so ymbrynes only discover this ability in their juvenile phase where they can exercise this peculiarity with more precision and with almost no margin for error. In this class, ymbrynes learn how to erase specific human memories.
- Entrepreneurship and financial education (and other illegal ways of getting money)🔶: In these classes, the ymbrynes learn ways to earn money to support their home and provide a comfortable life for their children. One of the easiest ways to get money is through street or circus performances, in addition to other illegal ways that only a peculiar could do.
- Hiding peculiar incidents 🔶: This subject requires a lot of knowledge of peculiar history and literature, ymbrynes have to use all their creativity to manipulate humans with absurd stories to cover up incidents of peculiar origin, such as the wooden bucket war.
- Housework and maintaining a home. 🔸🔶: self-explanatory, basically basic cooking classes, housework, agriculture, etc.
- Childcare 🔶: Since ymbrynes deal with small children with special needs, they have to learn how to deal with this, they must learn to give a dignified and comfortable life to each child regardless of their peculiarity.
- First aid 🔶: Self-explanatory. Since peculiars can be attacked by normals and later by hollows and wights, it is extremely necessary for ymbrynes to know how to perform first aid.
- Peculiar medicine 🔶: Peculiar means of curing peculiar diseases, ways to make and obtain medicines for diseases that only affect peculiars.
- Peculiar botany 🔶: The study of rare peculiar plants, how to catalog them, which botanical loop to send them to if found, and how to use them medicinally.
- Peculiar fauna 🔶: rescuing, capturing and documenting peculiar animals is sometimes a dangerous activity, ymbrynes have to learn to deal with peculiar fauna and even tame some species like grimbears. They learn how to care for and feed peculiar animals and how to send these animals to wildlife loops.
- Temporal control 🔸: this would be a more basic aspect of Loopology, it is exclusively for children to be able to control their temporal powers since these are extremely dangerous and unstable, it consists of being able to control themselves and avoid and resolve temporal incidents.
