Chapter Text
another day, another groan escaped Suyeol as he whined when the sunlight brightly shone in through his window, waking him up much earlier than he would have liked to be awake. he could have sworn he closed his blinds at night, he never remembered opening them in the middle of the night and why would he?
so he could be disturbed from the little sleep he had ? "mustve been K, that idiot " he mumbled sleepily, rolling over onto his side to try to get some more sleep.
and just as he did so, he felt a weight on the bed with an arm snaking around his waist as he softly smiled to himself, hiding it as best as he could from K, the male snuggling into his back suyeol, sighing gently. "Suyeolie~" he heard as he groaned, pushing K off him "no."
K scooched right back to Suyeol, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of his ear, giggling a little as suyeol opened his eyes, turning to face him as he lightly punched K in the chest. if this was them beforehand, Suyeol would have hated this. but now ? he’d gotten so used to K and his antics, what with his constant teasing, K’s constant clinging onto Suyeol whenever he had the chance.
”arent you meant to be my hero? why do you keep clinging onto me like a kid?” he teased K one time as K huffed. not many people knew, but K was a literal baby when he was done fighting away all the bad people. clinging onto Suyeol as soon as he was done, checking over suyeol, then proceeded to whine at suyeol until suyeol was the one pampering him.
K. K, the one who saved Suyeol every time he couldn't do it himself. (which was a lot mind you). Suyeol’s hero, Suyeol’s action star. His one and *only* K.
They had been through so much together, right up until the point Suyeol quit his job at the police force for a little bit, just to take a break from everything he'd been through. the mental exhaustion was too much for him to handle (plus K had been nagging at him *more than usual* about quitting for a long while now, seeing how exhausted his Suyeol was. Suyeol knew K was right but was he going to admit it? never, at least not to K.)
"what do you want?" he mumbled as he stared at K, K saying nothing as he peppered kisses to Suyeol’s face, Suyeol kicking at him to get him off as they both laughed, tossing and tussling like children. it wasn't every day they got to spend their days like this together, so they enjoyed when they could.
It was his- theirs ? Suyeol’s birthday. he never did like celebrating it, it was just another day to him. But to his mother, his older brother Dongyeol and especially to K, it was worth celebrating it. and K made sure he was going to do just that, he had been easy on Suyeol the last couple of years, respecting his wishes. but today Suyeol didn't have a choice, K was goinng to spoil him rotten. "you need to get up Ryu Suyeol~ its your birthday~” he softly spoke, Suyeol snuggling into K’s chest as K chuckled a little when he did so, his hand immediately coming up to play with Suyeol’s hair, Suyeol sighing softly as he shut his eyes, enjoying the peace and quiet for a bit, his breath syncing with K’s.
“i dont waannnaaaaaaaa” Suyeol whined as he huffed, K laughing like a child. “Fine, I’ll just not give you the one thing you’ve been begging me for.” K spoke, Suyeol immediately pulling away, looking at K with confused eyes and a slight pout on his lips “what the fuck did you get me?” he asked, his head tilting. He didn’t remember asking for anything, nor did he remember begging (as K put it) for anything either, so this was a complete mystery to Suyeol. “and exactly how exactly did you pay for this?” he questioned, sitting up with a huff, folding his arms.
K chuckled, still laying where he was, grabbing Suyeol’s keys from the bedside table. “your card, duh” he spoke, Suyeol glaring at him as K sat up. “and if you really want to know what it is .. you’re gonna have to come and take these!” he yelled and immediately ran out the room, Suyeol groaning as he threw the covers to one side, chasing him.
“K i swear!” he screeched, K not hearing him as he ran off into the distance, all that could be heard from him was a laugh that disappeared with him.
