Chapter 1
All of Danny’s exes somehow have turned into cult leaders or some sort of criminal. From his best friends then turned ex-boyfriend/ girlfriend, like Sam with her Hail to Natural cult and Tucker with his Pharoah Reincarnated cult, to his high school sweetheart Val with her anti-nonhuman and Dash with his War to End War groups. Even the newest guy he dated was Ra Al Ghul, the Demon Head of Leagues of Assassins. But all of his past relationships were full of love and they all let him go when he said he didn’t want to be caught in their cult activities. Yes, even Ra Al Ghul let him go with a promise to wait for him until he changes his mind.
So Danny moved to Gotham and opened a Repair Everything Store to start over after being heartbroken so many times. That is how the fate of Danny and the Batfamily has begun.
First is Dick.
When the guy who used to date Ra Al Ghul, broke up with him but still stayed alive moved to Gotham, of cause the Bats had to do a background check on him. Figured out he is a meta with death-related power, used to be a hero in his hometown, and has a list of exes being criminals, the Batfamily surely must do the close investigation on Danny. And Dick was the person who had been chose to befriend him. Somehow, they ended up dating. All the Bats knew about Danny and were waiting for Dick to introduce him to the family officially. But before he could do that, Dick had been turned and became vampire king.
Due to being near Danny and his special death energy power, Dick still had his mind, just chance his kind from human to vampire. But now he is the king of vampires, he has decided to let it that way so he can stop the other vampires from hunting humans.
The Batfamily accepted Dick’s new transformation after doing the health check on him and the reason he still stayed sane, but they were afraid that Dick shouldn’t date Danny anymore. Danny, in the eyes of Batfamily, was a civilian and knew nothing about Bat and birds’s business. And if Danny’s exes who are cult leaders know Dick is still with Danny after turning into vampire king, they will not gonna stay calm and let Danny keeps dating Dick while he broke up with them because they are murder cult leaders. Dick listened to his family, let Danny know about Dick being the vampire’s king, and said that he wanted a harem that suits for his king statue. So Danny broke up with him and Dick also grew distant from his family, like Jason was in the first few years they first knew he was still alive.
And then there was Tim.
At first, Tim just thought they shouldn’t break up Dick and Danny, making Dick distance himself from everyone in the family. Then, he thought reuniting them might bring everything back to normal. So Tim befriended Danny as his ex’s brother who still wants to keep in touch because they used to be close like a best buddy. But before he brought Danny back to Dick, he fell for Danny first. Maybe due to the caring, the understanding, their point of view, their personalities, or a lot of other things about Danny but Tim was in love with him. The feelings were so raw that he couldn’t stop himself from doing something he should not have done, loving his brother’s ex. But Dick wasn’t suitable for Danny anymore so why he couldn’t date Danny? He still brings Danny to their family and Dick would come home, just to be near Danny. So Tim started his plan to pursue Danny and ended up dating him.
Tim’s dating Danny may be the ultra surprise to the family and maybe the worst betrayal that Dick ever felt. Instead of Dick, Tim was the first one to introduce Danny to his family as his boyfriend. The Bat family, with their experiences about the love life of Bats, also accepted it. In the end, who wouldn’t like Danny? However, Tim wasn’t the end game.
Tim, while being a disguised spy at the mystery group that turns out to be a cult, somehow became the “Pope” and had an army of dark souls that he could control so he had to take care of them. His family, who knew about everything, found it kinda worrisome but not so serious. But Dick, affected by his dark vampire mindset, found it a convenient way to break Tim’s relationship with Danny. He gave Danny the “evidence” that Tim had been cheated on Danny. But he only faked a date with a blond to gain more information, and Damian, who had been convinced by Dick (because he used to be his Batman) gave Tim false signals that Danny broke up with him because he kind of a cult leader now. The other Bats, all knew about it but because they used the same reason to ask Dick to break up with Danny so they couldn’t say anything when it happened again. Tim only knew about it when Danny was already dating someone else.
And that someone else was Jason.
Jason, after seeing his brothers suffer due to breaking up with Danny, started keeping an eye on him but at a distance. He then began to know Danny from his observation, knowing what he likes on his pizza, what is his favorite hang-out places, how often he goes out, and how much he likes space. It's like Danny was Jason’s mobile pet that live in real life. One time he suddenly met Danny near the Gotham’s port. Maybe because Danny looked so lonely, maybe because the dawn on him made everything become so novel, Jason decided to go to him and say hello as Red Hood.
At first, Jason just wanted to know Danny in person. They had met before, as Danny and his ex-boyfriend’s brother but this was the first time he met him as Red Hood, a crime lord and a criminal. Somehow, they clicked it off right away, like soulmates that finally met. And Jason, like his brothers, ended up loving and dating Danny.
While dating Jason, Danny finally knew about Wayne’s secret identity. That was also the first time he talked to Tim after their break up. It's kinda weird that two of his boyfriend’s brothers were his exes but Danny came over it. Cause according to both himself and his boyfriend's family’s love life, being friends with exes was normal for them. Jason could be Danny’s final one cause he was the crime lord right from the start, how could it be worse?
But somehow it became worse. Talia, Ra’s daughter and Jason’s one-night stand announced that she had Jason’s kid, a biological one. And she only let Jason meet them if he came alone. And Jason, believed Talia because they did have a connection (not a romantic one) when he stayed in LoA, planned to meet the kid, brought them to Gotham, and talked to Danny about it. But somehow, Jason forgot that Ra also was Danny’s ex or he didn’t think Ra wasn’t getting over Danny. Everything was a trap to lead him into sacrificing for the Pits and Ra to take over his body. But in the end, the Pits, because of Danny’s death energy, prefer Jason more and give him the rage of unresting death power along with the leader’s role of LoA. That may be that was Ra’s plan from the start, to take over Jason’s body and become Danny’s lover or let Jason become the cult leader that Danny refused to date.
Jason, being betrayed by another mother figure and effective by his new power, went feral for months and stays at LoA. The Batfamily, after knowing about it and coming to save him immediately, had to keep him separated. When Jason regained his sanity, he received the news that Danny had broken up with him. Tim, after being friends with Danny again, gave Danny the letter that Talia sent him and told Danny that Jason wanted to break up with him because the kid he had with Talia and too ashamed to meet face to face with him, and Jason’s disappeared for months also proved it. His family, all agreed to that idea cause they didn’t know when he would regain his mind and they didn’t want Danny to worry. Even if Jason came back to himself, he was a new leader of LoA, and even if Talia’s brother, Dusan, was in charge, the assassins still saw him as their head. And for his tragedy, just before he became normal 3 days, Danny had accepted to be Damian’s boyfriend.
Damian becoming Danny’s boyfriend was something that no one, even Tim, could expected.
Between them were a few age differences, Damian just reached the legal age and Danny only was a few years younger than Dick, but it didn’t stop Damian to pursued Danny, even if Danny used to be Damian’s favorite potential brother-in-law. To Damian, everything was simple. Danny was strong and perfect other half. He was loved by the animal, being a part of the family since he began dating Dick. He always being comforted to be around, spent time with Damian, understood his quirks (as Danny said those were Damian’s uniques), and made him feel pleasant whenever they near each other. Father and Alfred also adored him and he didn’t mind having Danny as family. So he had always kept in mind that if Jason ever broke up with Danny, he would chase after him and make Danny his husband.
And then, Jason really “broke up” with him and Danny started to distance himself from Wayne. Damian knew that both Dick and Tim were trying to win him back, but before they could act, Damian got the first hands. The reason why Danny accepted Damian’s proposal is still a mystery. According to Tim, Dick or Jason’s trash talks to made him give up, maybe the reason Danny agreed was that he thought all of this was due to a teenage crush that might end quickly and Danny was too soft heart to turn Damian down. Damian didn’t care about all that, in the end, he was the last winner and he still had time to win Danny’s heart fully.
But surprisingly, or maybe not, some of the LoA’s assassins, who were loyal to his mother, kidnapped him. Turned out, Jason had spared his mother and she wanted him to win back the LoA. Of caused he refused but Talia was his mother and that was the first time in his life he knew about a chip that had been in his body since birth. It had one time used and wiped his memories, turning him back when he still believed his mother. And then “he” broke up with Danny, making it like his feeling was just a teenager’s heat. Then he disappeared and came back with an army of new LoA because his mother knew she couldn’t win back the original LoA. Worse, he had killed people again, due to his mother’s greed. When his family found him, Damian had gotten his memory back, left, and destroyed the new LoA. Even if his family accepted him back and Danny didn’t mind about he’d killing people, his chance with Danny had been ruined. Damian knew he should accept that he had been defeated by fate, like his brothers. But he couldn’t let go of Danny’s hug and his comfort words after he came back. How safe and sound it felt to fall asleep in Danny’s arms.
Now he and his brothers had the same start, and he is Damian, he wouldn’t give up on what belongs to him.
