Before Nicolò could think about why someone would fire a crossbow inside a tavern, he pushed Yusuf to the side, and the arrow hit the table instead of Yusuf.
Yusuf: "Thanks for saving my ass, Nicolò."
Nicolò: "Well, I might need your ass for something later... No, what I mean is I prefer you alive and without arrows in your ass."
Nicolò couldn't hide that he was blushing amidst a tavern brawl. After punching a man in the face, Nicolò looked at Yusuf, who had gotten a hold of the man with the crossbow and thrown him through a window.
Nicolò: "Can't we please concetrate on the brawl and not your ass?"
Nicolò facepalmed himself while thinking of throwing himself off the nearest cliff. When Nicolò looked at Yusuf, he saw that Yusuf was smirking.
Nicolò: "What?"
Yusuf: "Are you flirting with me and my ass, Nicolò? Because we are both feeling flattered."
Nicolò: "I am not flirting with you or your ass."
Yusuf's smile grew bigger.
Nicolò: "Stop looking at me like that. I am trying to save your ass, no I mean you and your ass."
Yusuf: "Oh, you are definitely flirting with me. And once we are done here, we are going to have a long talk about why you like my ass."
Nicolò wasn't planning on having that conversation with Yusuf later, because he was planning on putting as far a distance as possible between him and Yusuf and his ass once the brawl was over.
And if Nicolò hadn't been so busy defending himself he would have kicked himself for still thinking about Yusuf and his ass.
It was there; Nicolò realized it was going to be a very long day because he was still thinking about Yusuf and his wonderful, delightfully and perfect shaped ass.
