There was a little boy who sit alone, busy drawing something on paper. The boy stop his activity when he saw a little girl walking to him.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

The girl ask, she titled her head to the side.

The boy didn't answer immediately, then..

"It's none of your businesses."

The boy continued to draw, not minding the girl who still standing beside him.

After that cold response, the girl didn't leave. Instead she decided to sit next to him and watch him draw.

"Wow, your drawing is amazing!"

A wide smile forming on her face. Of course the boy didn't miss that sparkling eyes of her when she say that.

The boy stay silent, but he then open his mouth.

"..Thank you."

The girl just giggled and then introduced herself.

"Oh, I'm Miu btw. What's your name?"

The boy hesitated, after a while, he also introduced himself.

"I'm Scaramouche."

"Nice to meet you, Scara! Your my friend now!"

'..Scara? What's with the nickname- And wait, friend!?'

Scara is having an internal conflict right now, he's thinking whether to tell her to leave him alone and never bother him ever again, or to just accept his fate and becoming her friend..

....

'..Hm...The latter doesn't seem bad, I guess..? Let's just hope I'm not making a bad decision.'

Just when he decided to accept his fate, he then see the girl beside him, smiling at him.

Her smile is so bright, it's as if he was staring at the sun. So bright, that makes his eyes hurt. But even so, he can't turn his gaze away from that smiling face.

'...Guess the latter really doesn't seem bad at all.'
