   Summary

   Azriel and Gwyn are mates, but war with a death god and a series of unfortunate events meant that the bond didn’t snap for Azriel until years later, after he was already locked in a failing marriage with another. Gwyn ran from the truth, focusing her pain instead on becoming an assassin for the Night Court, operating alone so her found family could live their lives.
