Work Text:

"You sure it won't be awkward?" Blaine asks as he walks out of his car "I mean, we only started dating two months ago, would they be weirded out?"

"Relax." Sam grins, kissing his cheek, rubbing Blaine's shoulders "It'll just be like every babysitting session we've had. Get Stacy away from my mom's makeup, make sure Stevie doesn't watch anything scary and--"

"Watch a movie when the kids are asleep?" Blaine grins.

Sam's lips strech out in a grin. “Maybe. I get to pick the movie though.”

“Can we make out instead?” Blaine groans, stuffing his hands in his pockets as they walk up towards the front door “I don't really feel like watching your movies.”

“You never feel like watching my movies.” Sam cocks his head, before unlocking the door “And I feel so used by you, Blaine Anderson.”

Blaine scoffs, stifling a grin.

“Sammy!” Stacy squeals, before her head whips to Blaine's direction “Hi Blaine!”

“Hey princess!” Sam laughs as he throws Stacy over her shoulder, making her shriek happily “Where's Stevie?”

Blaine smiles as he walks in, laughing at the sight in front of him. He knew Sam was good with kids. And Sam was a good boyfriend. He feels himself redden when he sees Stacy riding on Sam's shoulders.

He shouldn't be thinking about kids with Sam at this age.

Or at this point in their relationship.

Luckily, Stevie's tugging on his index finger before he dwells into the thought any longer.

Blaine smiles at him warmly. “That's right.”

“You babysat for us before.” he says, as if mostly to himself.

Blaine nods, and watches Stevie furrow his eyebrows. In the corner of his eye, Sam's brought Stacy to the living room, jumping on the couch, screaming and laughing.

“Why are you only Sam's boyfriend now?”

“What do you mean?”

Stevie shrugs “He's liked you since, forever.”

“I don't reckon forever.” Blaine chuckles before they walk towards the kitchen, where Stevie has his Lego bin turned over. Stevie gestures for them to sit down.

“Well,” Stevie sucks in his bottom lip before working on a rather impressive fortress he had made “He told me that he's only loved one boy ever.”

Blaine smiles slightly, as he moves on to work on his own Lego structure. “Sam's loved girls before, Stevie.”

Stevie shrugs before continuing “Y'know, he wrote a song for you. He never wrote a song for Santa or Qu...Que--”

“Santana and Quinn?” Blaine corrects, stifling an amused grin.

“Yeah.” Stevie grins up at him before looking over at Blaine's side of the Lego pile “Can you give me that flat blue one?”

“No problem.” Blaine smiles, handing him the Lego.

Stevie looks at his fortress before continuing “And Sam was sad one day, you know. When you guys fought.”

Blaine's face falls slightly, feeling leftover guilt that tugged on his chest, for making this little boy witness the fact that he made his brother upset.

“I thought he was never gonna come out of his room.” Stevie laughs.

Blaine smiles at the boy. “Stevie?”

“Mhm?”

“I love your brother very much.” he says.

'I know. You give each other googly-eyes and kiss each other and stuff.” Stevie sticks out his tongue in disgust.

Blaine can't help but laugh. “Just...remind him that everyday when he needs to know that, alright?”

Stevie smiles and nods.

“You're the best.”

Stevie grins “Really? I always thought you like Stacy better.”

“Sammy, they're in the kitchen!” they hear Stacy yell.

Blaine looks up to see Sam strolling in, panting, crouching between the two. “Hey guys, what's going on?”

“Blaine loves you very much.” Stevie bursts out.

Sam and Blaine laugh good-naturedly before Sam asks “Is this true?”

Blaine grins. “Kind of.”

Sam smiles before he kisses him in front of his siblings before he's even aware of it and a chorus of “Ew!” and “I'm telling mom!” string with their laughs before they pull away, grins wide and eyes crinkling.

“Sam loves you too, Blaine.” Stacy says, arms tight around Blaine's neck, before whispering “He told me.”

“Who would've thought, huh?” Sam laughs, winking.
