Ruby Sunday's POV
I know The Doctor said he wasn't going to look for Rogue because 'there was as much dimensions in the universe as atoms' but recently he had been taking me to other dimensions, saying it was to 'broaden the fantasy' or something like that, but i knew he wouldn't just drain the TARDIS like that for nothing, sure he smiled and didn't even mention Rogue, but i could see behind that smile, i could hear behind his words, and i did notice he was looking more at people, as if trying to find someone, to find Rogue. Yet I knew if i called him out he'd lie and say that he wasn't looking for him, but i knew. i knew he was. And that made me smile, and know that The Doctor I knew was still there. Beneath that smile and those 'ooh look that looks like something interesting' or 'oooh that looks like a place we could go, babes' i could sense he just wanted to see more people to maybe see Rogue. When they had kissed and then Rogue had sacrificed himself, i saw the pain in his eyes, he even cried. _,,Ruby, what are you standing there for? come on!" he said, dragging me to somewhere, and i blinked out of my thoughts and followed him to some kind of bar.
Rouge's POV
I woke up, and found myself in what looked like London, but deep inside i knew it was another dimension, I started to walk, just for the case of getting to know this place just in case The Doctor doesn't find me or something. I prayed he'd try, at least. And if he didn't, well i guess i was doomed to loneliness. But that friend of his would probably tell him to try. I smiled to myself, god he didn't even know my real name. Which was actually Rogue, he just loved telling people it wasn't. He sighed, going into the local bar, that was a good point to start.
3rd person POV
The Doctor and Ruby entered the bar, and The Doctor frantically looked around, and approached the bartender. "hi, uh has anyone by the name 'Rouge' came in?" he asks, trying to sound as quiet as possible so Ruby doesn't hear. The bartender, scoffs, and points to a table "he's pretty famous around here, comes here every week. Dunno why, maybe has a fussy wife at home" She chuckles, The Doctor just ignores her, walking slowly to the table, and surprise, surprise, wasn't his Rogue sitting there, but just a random man.
Ruby Sunday's POV
I smiled as i heard him ask for Rogue, but then my smile quickly fell as we found it wasn't actually the Rogue we were looking for, as we turned to go i saw a slight sadness in the doctor's eyes, and couldn't help put a hand on his shoulder, and say "we'll find him" The Doctor looked at me "i don't know what you're talking about" he said, and went out the door, making me go after him. He was walking pretty fast, and before i could tell, he was gone. i sighed, and just decided i would wait for him in the TARDIS
The Doctor's POV
Before i could notice i was walking pretty fast, and now had ran into someone, i rubbed my head, and said ''oh i am so sorry-'' i stopped as i looked at who i had bumped into. it was none other than Rogue. I blinked, looking at him "..Rogue..?" HE smiled, and hugged me, and i hugged back, happy tears forming in my eyes as i hugged him "i thought i'd never find you.." I said, sighing in relief "and i thought you would never some, doctor" he said, and i could hear a ting of affection in his tone, and i pulled away, smiling "I don't even know your real name.." Rogue just chuckled "it's really Rogue i just love messing with people." he said, and before i could react, he kissed me, and i smiled, kissing him back. After that, his eyes trailed down to my hand and noticed i was wearing the ring he had given me, and smiled "you wore it" And i smiled back "course i did, babes." i said, caressing his cheek "course i did.." i repeated, and looked back "Ruby?" I realized she wasn't there, and sighed "oohh no, Rubyy..." I took Rogue's hand, my first thought was go to the TARDIS just in case she went there, and as we ran through the streets and into the TARDIS, there she was, and smiled as she saw me, and smiled even wider, seeing Rogue, and rushed over "told you you'd find him!" she said, smiling widely. And I smiled too, hugging her, pulling Rogue into the hug as well "ohp- well, okay.." he said, not really beaming at this hug..
A few weeks later
Ruby was at her parent's now most of the time so The Doctor and Rogue just travelled, and had fun (not just in planets but in bed as well ;) ) And The Doctor was happy to have someone to love, kiss and do stuff with, and he sensed Rogue felt the same. There were still fights about his ship and The Doctor's, so they just switched from one to the other from time-to-time and there was still the talk of 'no flirting with aliens until you're sure they don't eat humans' which was a harder topic because it had happened almost (the head biting) and The Doctor could not let that slide. They also just cuddled and hugged and- ha no, they teased each other, and it was sorta a game for them like 'the one who cuddles up first loses' or something, and usually it was The Doctor, but sometimes, just rarely, it was Rogue who lost.
