Right, everything seems to be in order. Now. Where to start.
My name is Yuuchi Lewis, the newly appointed Head Archivist of the Night Raven Institute. I find myself in this position after the untimely death slash disappearance of my predecessor. (Pause) Vague to say the least but my superior seemed unwilling to disclose any more details when I asked further.
(Scoff)
Nevertheless, I have been allowed to select several assistants to help me in my task of organising the, frankly appalling, state of the archives. I seriously think that my predecessor was shoving statements wherever there was space as from where I am seated at my desk, there are papers stuffed in between filing cabinets and haphazardly tossed on top of shelves! You would think it’s never been organised since the founding of this place.
(Clearing throat)
Ahem…
Right. Getting back on track, I’ve requested for Riddle Rosehearts, Ace Trappola, and Deuce Spade. They’re all a capable bunch, Riddle especially so, and I believe that work will go much smoother with their help.
Lastly, to address the elephant in the room, now typically I would’ve recorded this digitally but the archive’s modern tech has proven rather… inconsistent lately and this is a method that has proven to work.
Despite the initial inconvenience, I must admit I’m enjoying the process of recording via tape recorders quite a bit, it's rather novel.
