Chapter Text
Platform 9 3/4 was busy with people on the first day back at Hogwarts, which made it a loud place to be at, which was especially noticed by a particular girl as she came through the pillar after her family. Elektra Lupin crashed through the pillar and was immediately hit with the loud noises of the platform, the trains, and the people, she rolled her eyes slightly as one of her bags slipped off the trolley she was using. She leant down to pick it up and placed it back. Her brother, Teddy waved to her and she ran over to him with a smile. She got there and they both turned to their grandmother, Andromeda Tonks.
"I can't believe you two are already going to Hogwarts," Andromeda laughed. "It seems like yesterday you guys were little kids!"
Elektra and Teddy laughed in unison, and Teddy spoke: "Well, we're Hogwarts students now,"
"And are you ready for Hogwarts?" Andromeda asked and the twins grinned at each other.
"More like is Hogwarts ready for us?" They both replied and they looked over at the train.
"You guys should get going soon," Andromeda reminded them. "Right, have fun at school and look after each other yeah?"
"Of course!"
"And, metamorphmagus abilities are not made to be used for pranks," Andromeda said, her mind flashing back to how many letters she got from Hogwarts in the past claiming that her daughter Nymphadora had took part in some prank. She smiled fondly at the memory: "Although, I can remember saying the same thing to your mum, that never seemed to stop her!"
Teddy laughed and Elektra smiled, they had grown up hearing second - hand stories of pranks. Both their parents took part in lots during their separate times at Hogwarts, and Andromeda slightly hoped that these two would be different.
"Also Elektra, before I forget," She said while slipping her hand into her coat pocket and bringing out a bottle of stuff to aid burns out. Andromeda handed it to her granddaughter and Elektra slipped it into her bag, Andromeda nodded: "Just in case,"
"Got it, thanks," Elektra smiled, she was grateful for the stuff, but she wasn't planning on using it, as quite frankly she wasn't planning on touching any silver. Andromeda gave both of her grandchildren a hug before they waved as they ran onto the Hogwarts Express, they raced through the hallway of the train and sat down either sides of a table in an empty compartment. They both turned and opened the windows which they slightly leaned out off them in order to wave to Andromeda. They sat back down with a shared smile and put their trunks away safety, although this contained a slight slip up due to Teddy's clumsiness, which caused him to break out into laughter.

On the platform, Willow Lovegood, who was wearing a green t'shirt and black shorts, her parents had told her that she was going to get too cold and she was struggling to admit that they were right. She was standing with her half - sister Luna, who was back from her travels finding magical creatures and wouldn't miss her younger half - sister's first time boarding the Hogwarts Express. Luna handed Willow her copy of the current addition of the Quibbler and the eleven year old girl smiled and accepted it. Willow was pulled into a hug by Luna.
"If you find any of the magical creatures that me and dad were talking about you will tell me right?" Luna asked and Willow nodded with a smile.
"Of course sis!" She replied with a beaming smile.
"And have fun, I'm going to miss you," Luna said. "And remember to always be yourself, uniqueness is magic in itself,"
"I agree," Willow replied. "So, what house do you think I'll be in?"
"Well," Luna paused. "I think maybe Gryffindor, or maybe Ravenclaw, what house are you hoping for?"
"Not sure, most people know what house they want by now," Willow admitted. "Ah, I better get on that train,"
"See you later," Luna smiled as she gave her half - sister one more goodbye hug and Willow waved as she ran off towards the train. She boarded and walked down the corridor while looking inside all of the compartments until she realised that none were empty, she then came across one with two people inside, a girl and a boy. The boy had turquoise blue hair and was laughing, the girl had a more natural colour of hair, a shade of dark brown, that was tied up, she was reading a textbook. Willow knocked on the compartment door and the girl put the book away and stood up to open the door. Willow noticed a long, raised scar that was running down the girls hand as she welcomed her inside. Willow thought that the scar would also run down the girl's arm, but was covered with her long sleeves from her roll neck jumper. Willow sat down after putting her trunk away.
"Thank you, for letting me sit here," Willow said and the boy smiled.
"No problem," He replied. "Names Teddy Lupin, yours?"
"Oh, Willow Lovegood," She replied and the girl with the scar spoke up.
"Elektra Lupin," She said.
Willow wondered: "You two are siblings then I guess?"
"Yeah!" Teddy exclaimed. "We're twins,"
"First year as well?" Elektra asked and Willow nodded. "Cool, what house do you think you'll be in?"
"Not sure, my parents and sister were all in Ravenclaw, but I'm not too sure," Willow explained.
"Same here, I'm not sure," Elektra replied and Teddy nodded.
"What houses were your parents in?" Willow asked.
"Mum was a Hufflepuff," Teddy said.
Elektra continued: "And dad was a Gryffindor,"
"That's cool," Willow said. "What jobs do they have?"
"Uh, mum was an Auror," Elektra said.
"And dad taught D.A.D.A for a year," Teddy continued. "Before The Second Wizarding War,"
"Back when the job was cursed?!" Willow asked, intrigued.
"Back when the job was cursed," Elektra responded, their conversation was inturrupted by the Trolley Witch.
"Does anyone want anything off the trolley?" She asked and Elektra and Teddy both stuck their hands in their pockets to pull out the money Andromeda gave them. Willow also got some coins out and they studied the cart.
"A Chocolate Frog please?" Elektra asked and paid for the confectionery before sitting back down. Teddy decided to get the same along with a bag of assorted random sweets. Willow had decided that she didn't actually want anything and just sat down.
"Who's on the card?" Teddy asked after his sister had opened the packaging and caught the frog. Elektra pulled it out of the box and showed him the card.
"Just a headteacher of Hogwarts from some point or other," Elektra informed the two others sitting in the compartment. "What about yours?"
Teddy opened the packaging and also caught the frog, he turned the card around: "Bathilda Bagshot,"
"It's kinda annoying that we didn't get anyone who was in The Order of the Phoenix," Elektra replied, as a year after the war ended, the creators of chocolate frog cards decided to make cards around the members of The Order, especially the ones that bravely died for the cause against Voldemort, and the twins still hadn't collected them all, due to many duplicates.
"Why did you guys want to get cards from The Order of the Phoenix?" Willow wondered, curious about why the twins were wanting those specific cards.
"Our parents were in The Order," Teddy replied.
"Cool," Willow replied. "Have they ever told you stories from being in The Order? Like the good times, I heard they were mostly all rather close,"
Elektra and Teddy's faces fell. Teddy responded: "No,"
"Lets change the subject, shall we?" Willow said. "What lessons are you guys looking forward too, or any certain spells or charms you are excited to learn about?"
"Well, Elektra keeps talking about wanting to learn how to cast a Patronus," Teddy said. "She knows a lot about them, and talks about it quite a lot,"
"Really?" Willow remarked. "I don't know much about them myself, I just know that it's one complicated piece of magic isn't it?"
"It is, but I have many years ahead of me to learn it," Elektra replied with a smile. Willow started drawing until Teddy turned to look out of the window and pointed to something. "Look! The station!"
Willow hurriedly stated. "Isn't there meant to be a prefect coming around to tell us?"
"Probably?" Elektra replied, and she began to grab her things "We better hurry,"
Elektra started taking stuff out of her trousers pocket and putting the stuff into her small bag. Teddy was sitting down, completely finished and joking about the fact that his sister had 'too much stuff in her pockets' when really, she only had a few things, Willow laughed at this.

"Just in time," Teddy muttered as the train pulled up to the station, they left the compartment and got onto the platform. They were taken towards the Black Lake and boarded a small boat.
"Don't fall in!" Elektra remarked.
"If anyone falls in its most likely to be you Elekt," Teddy joked, Elektra smiled.
"Nope, it would be you falling in," She said as the boat started up and they traveled across the Black Lake, they looked up at the school that they were rapidly approaching, Elektra smiled, the excitement beaming. They arrived at the school and stepped off the boat and on to the land, Elektra's worries seemed to drift off for that moment as she walked with Teddy and Willow towards the school. After waiting for the teacher to come and get them from where they were waiting and hearing them talking about the importance of the Sorting Ceremony. Elektra smiled at the idea that the house she was placed in would sort of become like a family. Elektra and Teddy were in the middle of the line when they were lead out. Elektra, who was walking a bit too quickly, accidentally trod on the backs of the shoes belonging to the girl infront of her. The girl turned her head and Elektra whispered an apology, the girl said nothing and simply looked back in front. The first impressions of the inside of The Great Hall couldn't be replicated, the first - year students gathered in a huddle at the front, the older students all looked forward with anticipation to see what students would be sorted into their houses. There were a few ghosts floating about the room who had talked about wanting to see these new students in their houses and all the teachers were sitting at the front, apart from the teacher that had lead the first - years inside, who had picked up a hat and had entrusted it in the hands of another random teacher while they appeared to look for something. It was loud as all the students met up with their friends and talked about their holidays and their thoughts for the school year, there were seventh - years who were talking about things like Advanced Potions and N.E.W.T exams. The people who were confused on how the time flies and third - years who were excitedly talking about their electives. Teddy smiled at his sister and spoke.
"Ready for the Sorting?" He asked and Elektra nodded.
"What house do you think?" Elektra replied.
"Not sure, let's see," He said and Elektra slipped her fingerless glove onto her scarred hand.
"Forgot to put it on," She whispered and Teddy nodded.
"Okay?" He replied while pushing his hair out of his face. They all fell quiet as the headteacher stood up to speak:
"The Sorting Ceremony will began momentarily, the parchment containing your names has been misplaced,"
"Ah, the Sorting is about to start, I wonder who's first?"
"Whoever's last name is first alphabetically," Elektra muttered.
"Duh, I know that," Teddy rolled his eyes at his sister. "Who though?"
"Ah, yes I definitely know," Elektra sarcastically whispered back.
Teddy rolled his eyes: "I know you're being sarcastic,"
"How'd you guess?" Elektra smiled with a small laugh.
"Are you two always like this?" Willow leaned in towards them to whisper the question.
"Like what?" Teddy wondered.
"Arguing," She said rather bluntly.
"Pretty much, it's just how siblings are in my opinion," Elektra whispered before changing the subject. "It's a bit loud in here,"
"Perhaps," Willow said and Elektra fiddled with a loose thread on her gloves, until she left it alone to not unravel it further and thought to herself that she would have to fix it later. The Sorting called to a start.
"Your about to find out who will be first, although I don't know why you want to know, it certainly won't be us," Elektra whispered to her brother, who raised his eyebrows.
"How can you be certain Elekt," Teddy responded and Elektra jokingly elbowed him.
"You really think there isn't someone in here who has a surname that starts with a letter before L?" Elektra crossed her arms as she spoke and Teddy laughed.
"Okay Elekt, you win," He replied, he then whispered. "For now."
"I heard that y'know," Elektra informed him. "We better shut up now, the professor seems to have found that parchment,"
The professor had indeed found the parchment and had placed the old, dirty looking hat onto a four - legged wooden stool, the hat begun and finished a song before the professor spoke.
"When your name is called, you must come up here and be seated on the stool, place the hat on your head and wait for it's answer, as it is the only way to find your house," The professor opened the parchment and looked at the page, he looked up from the paper and looked over at the first-years. He spoke: "Black, Solana,"
A girl stepped out of the crowd and walked up to the Sorting Hat with what seemed to be confidence, Elektra thought that the girl, Solana, seemed slightly familiar, but Elektra was sure that she had never met her.
"Does she seem familiar to you?" Elektra whispered to her brother, quiet enough for nobody to hear but him.
"Don't think so, why?" He replied in an equal whisper.
"No reason," Elektra whispered back.
They both went back to looking at the front as the hat, rather loudly, announced that Solana Black was a Slytherin. She stood up, placed the hat back onto the stool and sat down at the Slytherin table. Elektra began to count the students that were being called, she got up to the number 15 before she recognised a name, four Slytherins, four Hufflepuffs, four Gryffindors, and three Ravenclaws. Then, it was someone she recognised, and it also gave confirmation that it would be her turn soon, as the first letter of their last name matched her own. Although, alphabetically speaking, her brother would go before her anyways.
"Lovegood, Willow," The professor announced and Willow turned to Elektra and Teddy.
"Wish me luck!" She whispered before walking up and taking her place on the stool with the hat on her head, the hat took around half a minute to decide, and it announced.
"GRYFFINDOR!" It shouted and Willow stood up, placed the hat down and walked over to the table, she sat down next to a girl who had been the third student sorted. The professor looked back down at their parchment.
"Lupin, Edward," He called and Teddy smiled at his sister before going up to the hat, he placed it on his head and Elektra watched as the hat screamed quite quickly.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" Was the house decided. Teddy leapt up from the stool and he walked over to the table, seemingly unaware that his hair had turned from turquoise blue to a bright shade of yellow. Elektra smiled at him and took a deep breath before her own name was called.
"Lupin, Elektra," She fixed a smile on her face and walked up and placed the hat on, it began silent, and then the hat spoke:
"Ah," The hat pondered, Elektra hearing the small voice. It continued: "Interesting,"
Elektra was confused what was interesting about her, but before she could ask, the hat had replied, although it wasn't an answer.
"Don't worry what is interesting, as there is quite a lot,"
"Oh. Okay?" Elektra thought in response.
"Now, hm. What house? What house are you destined for?" The Sorting Hat questioned, Elektra slipped her hand into her pocket and her fingers found a hair tie, she slipped it out of her pocket while the Sorting Hat was mumbling about something. She fiddled with the hair tie in her fingers, tying it in a knot and then untying it, although she soon broke it and sighed as she slipped the broken hair tie into the pocket of her robes. A minute went by and the hat was still mumbling.
"I think you would fit well in Ravenclaw, but then I'm not too sure. I think that you would fit, your smart, I can see it. But, I don't know if it's the best," It explained, and Elektra looked down, this had taken a lot longer than it had taken others to be sorted, and the hat had seemed to have gotten nowhere.
"Gryffindor, that may work. You seem like a Gryffindor, like your dad was. You're brave Elektra Lupin. Although I don't think you believe in that," The hat then added, and Elektra had to agree that it the final point was correct. Elektra glanced over at the Hufflepuff table and caught her brother's gaze, he smiled encouragingly at her and she returned the smile. She looked to the side and saw the professor look at a small watch, Elektra thought it over, how long had it been?
"Nearly four minutes," The Sorting Hat replied to her question, the hat paused and then added. "You're nearly a minute away from a Hatstall,"
"A Hatstall?" Elektra mumbled under her breath, she began to doubt herself. Was that normal? Was that okay? Was the whole thing pointless? Was the Sorting Hat just going to announce that it couldn't decide and give up?
"Is that why it's taking so long, I don't fit anywhere do I? What if I don't fit in?" Elektra couldn't stop herself from thinking it.
"Fear not, you fit somewhere, I'm just deciding where. It will be fine," The Sorting Hat reassured her, it began to talk about how she was either a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, until it realised something.
"Are you maybe hoping for Hufflepuff, to be in the same house as your brother?" It wondered and Elektra didn't get much chance to think before the Sorting Hat agreed that it was correct. "Although you do have some of the qualities of Hufflepuff. You don't fit as well as where I'm going to put you,"
"Have you decided?" Elektra was hopeful, she wanted to know, to find a place at one of the four tables in front of her.
"Indeed I have. And it's a Hatstall indeed. Five minutes and two seconds," The Sorting Hat had decided and didn't falter as it finally announced: "GRYFFINDOR!"
Elektra flinched back before standing up, the hat was loud in its announcement. She placed the hat on the stool and rather awkwardly sat down in a spare place across from Willow at the Gryffindor table. There were two other first years sitting next to Willow, which Elektra could remember one of them having the first name Antonia, and the other one had the last name Carpenter, or maybe one of them was called Antonia Carpenter? Elektra shook her head slightly and turned back to watch the next student get sorted. A student called Edie was placed into Hufflepuff and then:
"Malfoy, Cordelia!" It was someone again that Elektra recognised, but this time she recognised her as someone that she saw recently. Elektra recognised Cordelia Malfoy as the owner of the shoes that she had trodden on the backs of beforehand while walking to the Great Hall. Cordelia Malfoy placed the Sorting Hat on her head as she sat down on the stool, and the hat sorted her into:
"SLYTHERIN!"
She walked off and sat down at the Slytherin table, and immediately engaged in conversation with others. Elektra watched more people get sorted, still finding the hat loud as it shouted out houses, some more students joined the tables, including another girl who was sorted into Gryffindor and was called Gwyneth O'connor, Elektra realised that the girl would another one of her roommates. So far five girls had been sorted into Gryffindor, including herself, and by the end of the Sorting it turned out to be five girls in Gryffindor, along with an equal number of boys. The Sorting Hat and the scroll was placed away as Elektra turned to look from where she was looking down at the table towards the front of the room, as the headmistress walked up to the centre of the front of the room. Everyone fell silent, and for a moment all was quiet.
"Welcome to Hogwarts! Either for the first time or for another year," The headmistress announced. "As you probably already know, just in case you don't. I am Professor McGonagall. Well, without further ado. I will leave you to begin,"
She sat back down at the table that all the professors were sitting at. The food arrived on the tables with a flourish, and all the students dug in almost immediately and the chatter begun, on the Gryffindor table, a female prefect was checking in with all of the first - years, she came to Elektra last, and started talking.
"Hello. I'm Nova, I'm a fifth - year and one of the prefects in Gryffindor house, what's your name?" She asked with a smile, Elektra swallowed the mouthful of food that she was eating and turned slightly towards Nova.
"Elektra Lupin," She muttered in a whisper, she was nervous to say the least and the room was already loud, she flinched slightly as someone shouted across the tables to a friend in another house.
"Are you excited for school?" Nova questioned, Elektra nodded as she placed her fork down onto her plate. Nova smiled. "Any lessons in particular?"
"I'm not too sure," She responded before coming to an idea. "Herbology perhaps, maybe Charms,"
"I quite like Herbology," Nova agreed, she pushed a strand of dark hair behind her ear. "And Charms, those lessons are fun, as are most here. You'll have fun, I'm sure of it,"
"Okay," Elektra replied and Nova turned away as another prefect called her name. Elektra overheard some professors talking about teaching first - year potions first thing the next day. Not long after that, the food cleared and the headmistress stood up to speak again, she called for everyone to be quiet and for a minute of the time that they had, it was silent.
"Firstly, I would like to say that I hope you have a good year at school," Professor McGonagall announced. "Next, I would like to tell you, or remind you, that during meals, you are not required to sit at your house tables, only during events such as the Sorting Ceremony, or the end - of - year feast,"
She paused. "And for some notices: Quidditch trials will not be next week as planned, they are to be pushed back to two weeks from now. And the Forbidden Forest, is forbidden. Now, I think it's time for you all to be off to bed. First - years, be sure to follow your prefects. Thank you all for listening and goodnight,"
Everyone started to stand up and made their way to the dorms, the first - year's in Gryffindor were all crowded around Nova and a male Gryffindor prefect that Elektra didn't quite hear the name of walked off with the rest of the Gryffindors, telling them that he would tell them the password at the door. The group of ten first - years who were with Nova waited for the hall to clear a bit before setting off.
"Why are you still here Miss Ellis?" A professor asked.
"We're just waiting until it's a bit less crowded at the door," Nova responded, and the proffesor nodded. "I remember what happened when I was a first - year and what happened because we left straight away and ended up in the crowd,"
"Ah yes Miss Ellis," The proffesor replied before she walked off.
"What happened?" A curious first - year asked and Nova smiled.
"Some of the first - years got lost in the crowd and because they didn't know any better, two of them ended up at the Hufflepuff common room," Nova explained.
"Were you one of them?" Another first - year asked and Nova laughed:
"I'll admit that I was," She replied and saw that the crowd had died down, they left the Great Hall and Elektra walked towards the back of the group. All the first years were talking amongst themselves apart from her. Nova stopped and turned around to face the first - years to give them the warning that the stairs move before they started to ascend them. They ended up outside a portrait on the wall.
"Rubrum et aurum," Nova spoke directly to the portrait and it swung open, the first - years followed her through the portrait hole and it closed behind them. Nova informed the first - years that the phrase she had said was the password for the week. Elektra looked around the common room, it was decorated in shades of red and gold, which seemed fitting as those colours represented Gryffindor, the room also contained a fireplace which was lit, Elektra looked out of the window and wondered if when the sun would rise and it would not longer be pitch black outside, would the view be any good? She turned back around to look at Nova as she began to explain information about the dorms, and, as if on cue, the male Gryffindor prefect came down the boys stairs and took the first - year boys up the stairs towards the boys dormitories. Nova smiled at the girls and lead them up the mahogany stairs, they arrived at the top and made a left turn, two doors down was a door that was slightly open, Nova grabbed the handle and opened it wider.
"This is your dorm," She explained as the first - years walked inside. "I'll leave you to get settled, I'll see you in the morning, and if you have any, I will try and answer any questions then, goodnight!"
Nova walked out of the door and pulled it to nearly shut behind her. Elektra walked over and sat down on the bed that was in the back righthand corner, closest to the window, she silently watched as the rest of her dormmates selected a bed, and moved trunks around if they were at different beds. Elektra walked over to her trunk and opened it, she pulled out a textbook and sat back down on the end of her bed, she opened the old textbook to the bookmarked page and placed it on her lap before starting to read it, picking up from where she had left off.
"What have you got there?" One of Elektra's dormmates walked over and looked at the book. "Is that a textbook?"
Elektra gave a quick nod. The girl laughed.
"You're already studying for school?!" She asked as she continued to laugh. "We've only been here for about a few hours!"
"I'm not studying for school," She mumbled, but she placed the bookmark back inside and placed it away inside her trunk.
"What did you say? I can't hear you," The girl replied and Elektra continued to look through her trunk.
"Don't worry about it," Elektra replied.
"Anyways," Another girl spoke from where she was sitting on top of her trunk. "I'm Antonia, Antonia Copeland, half-blood. And you guys are?"
"Gwyneth O'connor, muggle-born," The girl who was asking about Elektra's textbook replied, she walked across the room and back over to her bed.
"Willow Lovegood, pureblood," Willow answered as she also continued to look through her trunk.
"Ester Carpenter," The other girl in the dorm replied. "I'm a half-blood,"
"Hey, what's your name?" Gwyneth O'connor asked Elektra, who was looking through her stuff. She didn't give her a chance to answer as she rolled her eyes. "Or are you going to be rude and not tell us?"
"Elektra. Elektra Lupin," She replied as she shut her trunk. "Half-blood,"
The new Gryffindors started to get to know each other, Elektra just stayed silent, although she listened as the others were explaining things about themselves. After about ten minutes she had learnt that Antonia had an older brother who was a Ravenclaw prefect, and that Ester was looking to join the Quidditch team when she got the chance the following year. She also heard that Gwyneth was happy to get away from her previous normal muggle school, as she found it 'quite boring', she had also learnt other things than this. They all started to create their own conversations, apart from Elektra. Antonia and Ester were both sitting on Antonia's bed and were whispering and Willow was having a conversation with Gwyneth and they were both standing by the door. Elektra looked up from what she was doing and heard Ester and Antonia start talking again after the fact that they had stopped for a bit.
"Do you know what lesson we have tomorrow. After breakfast?" Antonia whispered to Ester.
"I'm not too sure," Ester whispered back, she paused for a second. "Maybe we should ask one of the others?"
"Yeah, good plan," Antonia turned around but before she could say anything Elektra looked up.
"Potions," She answered.
"Huh?" Willow responded, confused.
"First, tomorrow, after breakfast, Potions, I heard a professor talking about it," Elektra replied, she looked up again and looked over at Antonia. She then began to worry that they would think that she was listening in when they didn't want her to. "Sorry, not trying to eavesdrop or anything, but I heard Antonia asking,"
"How did you hear that?!" Ester exclaimed, she was wondering how Elektra could have heard that. "I could only just hear her and I was sitting next to her!"
Elektra shrugged slightly. Although she started to worry that she shouldn't have said that, was it too abnormal?
"Why were you whispering anyways? It seems random," Gwyneth asked and Antonia shrugged as well:
"I don't know really, I just kinda did," She responded, not long after, the first - years decided that it would be a good idea to get ready for bed and they all started to do so. Elektra ended up getting changed in the bathroom and came out changed into a light orange long sleeved pajama top and long trousers, she pulled a burgundy leather notebook and a regular pen (as she preferred using one of those instead of a quill) out of her trunk and sat down before she pulled her curtains shut around her bed. She opened the clasp on the notebook, inside it contained lined paper, many of the pages had been filled with writing. The inside of the cover had a flap that held three things tucked in there for safe keeping, two envelopes and a picture. Elektra turned to a fresh page in the book and put the date at the top of the page, she placed the cap back onto the pen and closed the book for a moment, trying to figure out the right words. Then the lights went out. Elektra sighed and got out of bed, made her way over to her trunk again while managing to walk into the bedframe. She found the latch for her trunk and opened it in order to search for her torch, which didn't take long to find as it was near the top. She climbed back into bed and made sure the curtains were drawn tight before turning the torch on, reopening the notebook and taking the cap off her pen. Around her, the others stopped their conversations and fell asleep, Elektra yawned and started to write the diary entry that was recapping the day, she wrote about the train ride and meeting Willow, and the Sorting and her Hatstall. She wrote about hers and her brother's houses and that her dormmates seemed alright people, then she got to her worries about not fitting in, and filled another two pages on that topic alone, although she ended up leaving it there, as she was tired, she opened the curtains around her bed slightly and stepped out, she pointed her torch down at the ground and made her way over to her trunk for the final time that night. Elektra put her pen and torch into her trunk and closed the clasp on the diary before slipping it inside and slowly shutting the lid, trying not to make a loud noise. She stood up and climbed into bed before pulling the curtains around the bed shut and laying down, she was tired, and the next day, her first proper day of classes, would be a long one. Elektra fell asleep while remembering the final line that she had written in her diary that day, it replayed in her mind: 'As long as I act normal, nobody will know, will they?'
