Chapter Text
richie pedaled toward eddie’s house, feeling the cold rain start to pour harder, not even remembering why he’s pedaling to his house in the first place. oh, right! richie thinks, i was going to his house to tell him I get to go to my cousins house! and since mike said i can bring one friend, i’m definitely bringing eds.
richie drops his bike in the grass, and goes up to eddie’s window, climbing in, like always.
”hey, eds.”
”richie, it is…” eddie looks at his watch. “11:30. why are you here?”
”why are you awake?”
”touche.” eddie admits.
richie walks over to the towel pile, that eddie keeps in his room for when richie comes over when raining. he grabs one, dries his hair, and sits down on eddies bed.
”so, did your mom move her room? could’ve sworn this was her room.” richie jokes while drying his hair.
”yeah, she said she’s tired of you.”
”aw damn. anyways…”
eddie nods, prompting him to go on.
”my cousin. he said i could bring one friend with me to hawkins, so… could you come with me?”
”i don’t know…”
”so, you’re saying i should ask bev.” richie jokes.
”ok, i’ll go.” eddie says.
”thanks.” richie stands, and throws his towel onto the pile.
richie climbs back out the window, then turns around.
”also, mike said we should leave tomorrow.”
great. eddie thinks. fucking amazing. and he closes the window.
