These were some of the best nights of your life, where you’d find yourself walking with Osomatu’s arm around your shoulders, both of you giddy and drunk as you tried to get yourselves home through the quiet and homely streets of your neighborhood. His laugh was contagious, you trying your best to stifle yours in fear of someone hearing the commotion coming from you both.
You kept catching yourself looking at him fondly in between fits of giggles as he slurred his rather ridiculous thoughts as you swayed against each other. The slight blush on his cheeks from the booze, his cute nose scrunched up as he began to tell you about what embarrassing thing Karamatsu wore the other week, and the way his hoodie smelled like oden and spilled beer amongst the faint smell of detergent; they were all the things you were doing your best to remember for when you sobered up.
You found your hand grasping at the arm slung around you as you walked, the gesture made bold by the alcohol, just to have an extra layer of contact between the two of you.
Osomatsu was always a little physical with you anyway, be it having his hands on your shoulders trying to get your attention or leaning against you heavily as you sat on the benches at the park. You felt safe with him so close, even though you know a robber could easily come up wielding just a slipper and rob you both with the state you and him were currently in now.
He was so warm against you, especially with how chilly it had become as the hours passed. You moved your face towards his hoodie covered neck and pressed your face against him, closing your eyes.
You heard Osomatsu’s laugh again. “Hey, wake up! You can’t sleep here, we gotta.. we gotta get you home first ya’know. The sidewalk’s too cold, anyway.” You felt his head rest lightly against yours anyway, your walking coming to a slow stop with you and him now standing in the middle of the empty street. He slowly moved you to face his body and bringing you into a soft hug as his arms enveloped you, your face against his chest.
“Hey.. what do you wanna do?” Osomatsu's voice was softer now, almost a hush as he moved his head by yours, breath tingling against your ear.
You mumble against him, not making any effort to be coherent enough for him to understand you. “Hmm… hey… are you hungry? Let’s get.. ramen. Or oden. Chibita's probably still there.. Maybe… what do you wanna eat? We can go home later..”
You move your head up to look at him, a little startled with how close you were. The boyish smile on his face was still there, though he seemed a bit more timid now. You feel like you wouldn’t mind it if he kissed you, maybe. You wonder what his lips would taste like.
Osomatsu speaks up again after a few moments of silence. “You know.. You’re really pretty. Your eyelashes are... really pretty.”
You laugh, asking him what kind of a compliment that was supposed to be. You move away, though not as quickly as you'd like, trying to keep your composure as you stumble towards the shop up ahead while urging him to follow you. Osomatsu stands there for a bit before making his way as he shouts, a bit too loud, for you to wait up.
