The weather was continuously getting hotter, or Machias at least could swear it was as he stopped to check his mail when he got back to the dorms. At this rate, he was very close to joining the swimming club as a temporary member. Not that the damn water in the academy pool was actually cool or anything with the weather like this, but during their swimming lessons, he had noted that it was better than this heat from hell, that was for sure.
Swimming lessons also means the eternal rivalry with Jusis, and Machias was beating him one of these days. Swimming lessons also meant seeing Jusis in those damn swim trunks, and he was definitely not interested in seeing Jusis near-naked. Who in their right mind would have wanted to see another guy half-naked, except Elliot apparently since he liked to comment on their bodies, but...
Speaking of Jusis, why was there a half-naked Jusis who was drying his hair in the dorm entrance hall, and Machias quickly stared at his mailbox instead. His mind sure had gone to places, but this was the dorms and he had not expected to see that, and why the heck was Jusis smirking over there as he looked in Machias' direction before heading up the stairs. Sure, he had probably just been taking a quick shower or whatever, but some timing.
That sure as hell also was not causing any other type of heat, Machias swore to himself as he closed his mailbox and headed to his room. He was absolutely not interested in seeing that, and he needed to go study and not think about stupid nobles.
