The wind rushes through his hands, easily following Aang’s lead. Even now, with his understanding of all the elements, air is still the one that he feels most at home with, where he feels the most free. There’s discipline involved, of course; it takes more than just a thought in his mind to redirect its path, the motion of the body has its own precision required, as it does with every element. But with air, those motions have always come naturally, that it feels less like discipline and more like just living.
As effortless and unconscious as inhaling and exhaling.
