The visit of the revived dead brother

Summary:

I simply give Robin a gun and Jason goes to visit the tower after reviving with Birdflash and a very unserious story

Work Text:

Jason entered the dark room unnoticed and froze when a bullet grazed his cheek.

"Hey, little brother, want to tell me what you're doing in my tower?" Robin asked, grinning, holding a gun.

"Since when did you own a gun? More importantly, since when did you even know how to use guns?" Jason asked, raising his hands in a sign of peace.

"Alfred taught me, since Bruce was too busy acting rich and famous," Dick said, turning the gun around in his hands as he looked his little brother up and down. "By the way, weren't you dead?"

"I come back to life, and the first thing you do is shoot me," Jason said, putting his hands on his hips.

"Why are you here, Jason?" Robin asked, frowning.

"Would you believe me if I said I missed you and came to visit?" Jason asked.

"No," Dick said.

"Well, okay, I came to steal your food. Now, why the fuck did you shoot me?" Jason asked.

"I thought you were a thief," Dick shrugged, tucking the pistol away in his suit.

"Since when do you shoot thieves?" Jason asked indignantly.

"Since they break into my tower and my team isn't around, so I don't have to worry about waking them up," Dick said.

"Or hide your true identity," Wally said, appearing out of nowhere. "Hey Jason."

"Or that" Robin said, pointing to what Wally had said.

"I thought your team wasn't here" Jason said, looking at the speedster.

"Wally's not part of my team" Robin said.

"I want to, but he won't let me" Wally shrugged.

"They say you shouldn't mix business with pleasure" Dick said, shrugging.

"Aww, I love you too, babe" Wally said, smiling at his boyfriend. "Now, Jason. I thought you were dead. What are you doing here?"

"You know what? For see a dead person brought back to life you don't seem very traumatized" Jason said, arms crossed.

"Well, you showed up at 5 in the morning in the middle of the night. I'd be traumatized if you were Batman," Wally said, shrugging.

"You guys aren't funny," Jason said, pouting.

"And you should be dead, so we all mess around," Dick said, arms crossed.

"I propose lunch," Wally said.

The two black-haired men looked at him.

"All that talking made me hungry, and it's getting light, so let's have breakfast and talk," Wally said with a smile.

Jason shrugged. A meal wouldn't hurt.

Dick headed into the kitchen to get to work.

Jason watched as the couple cooked and calmly set the table while enjoying each other's company. They almost made him forget that his older brother had shot him less than an hour ago.

When the food was on the table and everyone sat down, they looked at each other, and Dick was the first to ask, "So what happened to you?" Should I tell Bruce you came back to life?

"No, I want to mess with him, so is better if you don't tell him" Jason said with an evil grin on his face.

"Okay" Dick said, shrugging, not caring about the wars between his little brother and his father.

"I simply just died and came back to life" Jason said, taking a bite of his toast.

"How so?" Wally asked, interested in the story.

"Something about a well and seeing if the formula works. I didn't stay long enough to know the details." Jason shrugged.

"You know what, I think we've been through crazier things than a mysterious well that revives people." Robin said, looking at Kid Flash.

"Yeah," Wally agreed.

"You guys are pretty unfun," Jason sulked.

"Yeah, leading a team makes you boring," Dick shrugged.

"We should go back out with Roy just so we can set the city on fire again" Wally said.

"Yeah" Dick said with a smile that promised chaos.

"Sometimes I forget you're chaotic forces when you are together and get bored" Jason said, taking another bite of his toast.

"Should we look further into the mysterious human-revival well?" Dick asked.

"Nah," Wally said, dismissively.

"So, where are you staying, Jason?" Dick asked.

"I was planning on looking for an abandoned apartment somewhere," Jason shrugged.

"Nonsense, you can live here," Robin said. "Batman doesn't visit. Your only concern would be the team."

"I propose we make them believe it's the ancient ghost of the land and that only they can see it," Wally said.

"Uh gaslighting, I like it," Dick said with a smile.

"Just like that, chaotic forces," Jason said, looking at them both.

"Do you want to do it or not?" Dick asked, taking his tongue

"Why not? It's fun, and I can see how busy you were that you didn't want to come back to the mansion," Jason said.

"I apologized for that," Dick said, frowning at him.

"You didn't," Jason said, frowning at his older brother.

"True, I apologized to your grave," Robin said, shrugging.

"Later, we'll go clothes shopping. Because, man, you need a new wardrobe," Wally said, pointing at the young man.

"The three of us?" Jason said, looking at the two.

"Yep," Dick said, popping his mouth. "You need to spend more time with your family."

"Wally isn't family," Jason said, frowning at him.

"He's my boyfriend, so by extension, he's family," Dick said with a smile.

"I only tolerate it because I still remember you having a gun," Jason said, looking at his older brother.

Dick smiled. "It works for me."

"I still don't know how someone let you carry a gun around, and the only one who's seen you use it so far is Jason," Wally said, looking at his boyfriend.

"Rich people. Just pay to make your problems go away," Dick said with a smile. "Or in this case, to be allowed to carry a gun around."
