Chapter Text
Many a lesser witch doth come to ask
How it is that I, of such simple mind
Became the common foe of humankind
Who killing, they said, be a hero's task.
For yes, I, the perfidious one, struck
So soullessly, inhumanly, at all,
Such that they pray'd I'd be put 'gainst a wall
As they'd cry "Hep hep! You are our unluck!"
My secrets I'm usually loathe to share
But I'll tell you how this insipid freak--
The most repugnant thing beneath the air--
Became a danger to the world so bleak
That the very thought of how it can fare
On the earth as it lives makes your heart weak!
