Notes:

Yea I'm writing a fanfic based off a FNAF RP game off Roblox, what of it?
I was asked to write this, so if the person who caused me to write this is reading this, this is for you.

Work Text:

Entertaining children often lead to little downtime with your fellow performer "friends". But whenever the chance did arise for a break, brief or lengthy, it was always good to stretch hydraulics for a bit before the next show. It also gave opportunity for some extra banter for one to listen in on.

And that was something Blacktail enjoyed doing from time to time.

Even on days where the pizzeria was closed for maintenance or holidays, Blacktail had a discreet affinity for snooping in on conversations between others behind doors. Doesn't matter who was in it, so long as it kept the curiosity of the wolf for a minimum of 6 seconds, it was worth listening in on.

It didn't even have to be conversations either. Blacktail also enjoyed watching people from afar from time to time, mostly out of grim enjoyment. The pirate enjoyed messing around with others, it was Blacktail after all, the tyrannical pirate. What tyrant doesn't enjoy a dose of shady, malicious fun? Certainly not him.

And all of this leads to a certain spark between him and the star of this restaurant:

Freddy Blockbear.

Freddy, to Blacktail, was a bit of a nuisance. Something about that bear just got on his mechanical nerves, frustrating him ever so slightly. Perhaps it was his charm towards the guests, his sweet old man laugh (A funny factor, considering Fredbear was often considered the "old man" out of the group.), his toothy but fun smile, or maybe it was the fact he was the well respected "leader" of the band. Whatever it was, it ticked the pirate wolf off of.

But it was also rather enamoring, in a sense...

Blacktail wasn't sure if carrying genuine love for somebody as a performer animatronic was at all natural, but more than anything, he was more tangled up in the disgusting idea of harboring love for anybody. Him, Blacktail, a pirate of terror, reign, and evil, in love with such an egocentric bear like Freddy? Or anybody in that matter?! Preposterous!

Yet he couldn't shake these feelings, no matter how hard he tried.

Eventually, it came to a point where Blacktail grew tired of trying to get rid of these emotions towards the bear, feeling that maybe, just maybe, he could act on these feelings and get what he wants.

And luckily for the pirate, it seems his treasure wouldn't be too far out of his reach, for his beloved bear seemed to share this same love too.

The difference between him and Blacktail, though, was that Freddy was making a poor attempt at not making it clear he had a thing or two for the pirate. Whenever Freddy would have a speak with him, Blacktail noticed that Freddy seemed somewhat flustered around him. His voice would turn shyly and he was almost fidgety with his fingers. And during his brief moments of spying, there were times where Freddy was looking at posters and plushies of him, staring at them all mellowly. Animatronics couldn't blush, but Blacktail swore he could see the bear's face faintly red.

Sooner or later, Blacktail knew he'd have to take matters into his own hand(s), and get this pointless interlude of love over with. And that time was inching closer and closer.

During one particular evening when the restaurant was closed for maintenance, Freddy was making his usual rounds about the pizzeria, holding brief chit chats with the employees and other animatronics, when he saw a note taped on the on the restrictors in-front of his section on the main stage. He took the paper off of the yellow beam, noting the tear into the top left of the paper and its hastily written handwriting that read:

'MEET ME IN THE LOADING BAY, BLOCKBEAR '

Odd, thought Freddy. This was quite an unorthodox method of telling him that somebody needed to talk with him, normally they'd just say it in person. And the use of his last name instead of his first was also peculiar. The only people to refer to him by 'Blockbear' was either Foxy or Blacktail, and Foxy was resting on stage, meaning the only person that could've written this was Blacktail.

Blacktail... Freddy felt tense just thinking about it. Great, a one on one with the person he secretly loves, that oughta go well.

Letting out a mechanical sigh, the bear made his way to the designated meeting spot. Once in, he shut the door behind him, a precaution incase the discussion were to be something private.

But as soon as he took a few steps into the area, he was met with a surprise attack that shoved him harshly into the wall.

"GAH! What on earth?!-" Freddy yelped, his processors whirring up in panic before he realized who the attacker was, standing right in front of him with his hand pressed against the wall besides the bear, pining him.

It was Blacktail, and he was scowling at him.

"Ah..Blacktail... What'cha ya... doin'?" Freddy asked, giving a confused (and notably frightened) chuckle. Blacktail grumbled.

"Don't be playin' dumb with me, Blockbear! I know what ye be hidin' from me!" He hissed.

Freddy blinked, tilting his head while still maintaining eye contact with the wolf. "What... hidin'? What are ya on about, BT?"

Blacktail leaned in, his face inches away from Freddy's. He squinted his eye. "You know DARN well what I be sayin', Blockbear."

Freddy winced, the proximity was unnerving. And it only grew tenser when Blacktail raised his hooked hand, pressing the metal against the bear's chin, forcing it up.

"Wha... BT what are you-"

"Enough." Blacktail hissed once more. "Don' think I've seen what ye've been doin', bear. Ye think yer slick, hm? I waver a siren's scales that you hold love for me in that mechanical heart of yer's."

Freddy's eyes widened at that. "What, n-no! You've... you've got that all wrong, heh heh!" He lied, but his stammering and clear signs of flustering did no help in convincing the wolf.

"Still lyin' to me, huh? Yer a stubborn lil' bear aren't ye..."

Blacktail pressed his nose against Freddy's snout, heaving. "I be gettin' real ticked with how much of a fool yer playin' me, Blockbear. And I be here to put an end to yer lil' charade."

With no warning nor hesitation, Blacktail lunged his snout in for an intense, passionate kiss formed with the furies of a hundred dead sailors, catching the bear off guard. Freddy pressed himself further into the wall, briefly squirming from Blacktail's sudden move of intimacy. But he was quick to give into the act, his rotors untensing as he fell into the embrace, wrapping his arms around the pirate's neck. The two held onto the kiss for what felt like minutes, not bothering to break free from either of their metallic but rubber and pseudo fur mouths.

Eventually, they pulled their mouths away from each other, with no string of saliva holding them together, but instead the electrical energy that held the metaphorical space between their faces.

Freddy grumbled, before letting out a short, deep hearty chuckle. "... Well Blacktail, you've sure proved a bear wrong."

Blacktail responded with a 'hmph', still somewhat annoyed with the bear's antics. "And it only took ye this long. Let this be a lesson, Blockbear. A wolf's senses are far stronger than one may think."

Freddy scoffed, giving a playful grin. "Yea yea, I gotcha there, BT." He looked to the sides, before returning his gaze back to the wolf. "So er... I suppose the two of us are a thing now?"

"Seems to be the case, Blockbear. Though ye seemed-"

"What in tarnation?!"

The two animatronics froze, looking to see where the voice was. It was an employee, specifically Tanner, a sprightful mechanic... now caught in the act.

"A-Ah! Mr. Wright! This er..this isn't what it looks like, really!" Freddy stuttered as he attempted to explain himself.

Tanner blinked, trying to form actual words. "I... I don't... I don't even know what 'this'  is! Are you two-"

Blacktail growled, gritting his teeth. "Out with ye, Wright! NOW! And don't ye DARE utter a word about this to another soul!" He threatened, making Tanner freeze.

"OKAY! Okay! Okay! I promise I'll keep my mouth shut! Ya don't gotta worry, partner!" Tanner made a mock surrender with his hands, before he quickly backed out the room.

Now alone again, the two returned their attention back to each other. "Now..what was I sayin'..." Blacktail resumed. "I suppose you and I are together. Though ye seemed far more eager to set this off."

"Eh, guess I was. How 'bout we head back, others are probably wonderin' where we are."

The two made began their way out of the room, walking side by side. Even after their brief moment of love, there was still a considerate amount of sparks flickering between the two in that moment.

"That Wright better keep his nose out of this..."
