"I didn't realize you were so talented." An accented voice pulls Grant from his little world, and he removes his gloved hands from the ivory keys on his piano, letting the last played notes reverberate through the room.
"Not as much talent as it is just practice. But I will take your compliment." Grant closes his eyes and his lips curve into a polite smile, hands folded neatly in his lap as he turns his head to face the man behind him.
"You're still talented. You're quite lovely. . .at the piano, I mean." Lucille catches himself, barely covering his slip and Grant blushes slightly, turning back towards the keys.
The two men sit in silence for only a few seconds before Lucille sits down right next to the other, shoulders barely an inch away from touching. Grant is a little taken aback and he glances at the inventor, waiting for an explanation. Their eyes meet and Lucille smirks; he muses quietly about how his friend looks almost like a modern day Apollo, but realizes that might be too friendly, and his eyes fall back onto the ebony and ivory below him.
