Dear diary,
I'm so happy today!! I literally CANNOT contain my excitement, i've GOTTA TELL YOU!!! You know how bad i am in history, right?? Well not really 'cause i haven't told you just yet. For me history is the most BORING school subject, just opening the textbook makes me nauseous, so many pages, so many paragraphs, so many dates, so many names, so many words, so many letters... I CAN'T STAND IT!!! And the lesson in class is also extremely boring, the teacher keeps yapping without stopping the whole time, like, how does his mouth not get dry from speaking like that?? Anyways, i was telling you about some VERY good news. I GOT A 90% ON THE LAST TEST!! I still can't believe it, I REALLY want to believe it. I usually get really bad grades in history, they can go from 50% to 10%...
Now you must be wondering, "BuT NiKoLaI, HoW dId YoU gEt SuCh A gOoD GrAdE?" Well... It's all thanks to the dearest of my dearest friends. He took up HIS own time just to study with ME!!
Ok, let's rewind a little, since i got you but haven't updated you in a month.
There's a boy in my class that I've always admired, mostly for his beauty and his sophisticated and collected appearance, nothing else. One dark and rainy day he was leaned on a heater, reading a book. He's always alone, so I thought I had a chance to talk to him. BUT ANXIETY ALWAYS STOPS ME! Anyways, that day I went up to him and greeted him, but he didn't look up from his book. I was really about to panic, DID HE JUST IGNORE ME?? I greeted him again, and it turned out that he was just too focused on his book and didn't hear me. He greeted me back :D. Well, once that was done i was about to panic (again) because WHAT THE HELL DO I TELL HIM AT THAT POINT?? So I asked him what book was he reading, he told me the name. The republic by Plautus. We did start learning about greek theater in literature class, his dedication made me admire him even more. I'm also a reader, so we started talking about books and found out that we have a lot in common, like we both read classics most of the time. I always thought classics were the most interesting books, they just have something that draws me to them. Unlike theater, greek theater. Maybe it's because I don't really know greek history so it's hard for me to understand what's going on, as we know it's all about politics and some other boring stuff. He told me that it wasn't his first time reading some greek works, and the way he told me about it made want to read it as well. He lent me the book he was reading, he told me he had already read it multiple times and that he wants to hear my thoughts about it. I WAS ON THE SEVENTH SKY!! So that same day, after coming back from school, i spent the whole afternoon reading it, and also did some research about the history and politics at the time. I was super excited to see him the next day and tell him how much i liked it!! But the next day he didn't come to school. The teacher set the date for the history test (that i just told you about), so I thought of texting him to let him know about it, that's when I realized: I DIDN'T ASK HIM FOR HIS NUMBER! So I asked my seatmate if she had it, unfortunately she didn't, but she gave me his home address instead. So after school (and after lunch ofc) I went to his house to visit him, and brought my notes with me. Weird enough i found myself taking notes during history class, jsut so i can give them to him.
I was DEAD worried about him, he always looked so pale and sometimes even on the verge of... fainting? Anyways, I was in front of his house's door and rang the bell. His mom opened for me, she is extremely beautiful, I can clearly see where he got that quality from. She was very nice too, she led me to her son's bedroom and knocked. I was SUPER nervous.
He was sitting at his dark wooden desk studying with a little lamp that lit his face. The room had a faint light and the curtains hid the view outside the window, it was a cloudy day after all, and sunset was approaching as well.
I was so happy he wasn't sick!!
As soon as he saw me his eyes widened in utter surprise, he was NOT expecting my visit XD. I greeted him and entered the room, telling
