1. Who is the better cook?
Without a recipe, Meli is slightly better.
2. Who would get up at 2 AM to cook?
Definitely Meli. Even if Tech is hungry, he wouldn’t cook—he’d either be too busy working to realize he’s hungry or just grab a piece of chocolate or some other sweet snack.
3. Do they like public displays of affection? Who is more proactive?
No, they are both reserved. They’re the kind of awkward duo that won’t kiss unless they have complete privacy. But Meli is more proactive.
4. What’s their favorite show to watch together?
Science documentaries. Tech watches while correcting mistakes.
5. Who is more romantic?
Relatively speaking, Tech—because he’s too blunt, which makes for a different kind of romance.
6. Who is always late?
Meli—especially when she used to work at the bar, she couldn’t get out of bed.
7. Who is clumsier?
Meli.
8. Who is an early bird? Who is a night owl?
Tech is both an early bird and a night owl (do you even want to sleep?!). Meli’s sleep schedule is irregular.
9. Who packs lighter when traveling?
Meli. I’m convinced Tech would bring a lot of weird stuff.
10. Who always reminds the other not to forget important documents/items before leaving?
Tech.
11. Who leaves notes in the other’s lunch? (Bonus: What do they write?)
Meli. It’s always something simple, like “Eat well.”
12. Who prefers calls over texts? (And vice versa?) Bonus: Did anyone’s bad texting make the other think they weren’t interested when they first started dating?
Before they got together, Meli preferred calls, and Tech preferred texts—calling means having to look at the other person, and Tech thought he was too busy to do that. Before, they only went out to places like museums or libraries, but then the squad pointed out that it seemed like a date, so after that, he became extra cautious with his messages.
13. Do they prefer staying in or going out? What’s a typical date night?
They’re both homebodies. For casual outings, they like busy food streets—feeding Tech is cute. For something special, they go camping. Meli always attracts harmless animals near the campfire, and Tech takes pictures.
14. Who falls asleep while watching movies?
Both of them. If the movie is boring, they’ll be out cold.
15. Who is the first to cry during an unexpectedly emotional movie?
Meli.
16. Who steals the blankets?
Meli.
17. Who is more competitive?
Tech.
18. What are they like when drunk? How do they interact if they’re both drunk? What if one is sober?
• Tech when drunk: Due to accelerated growth, his metabolism is fast, so he sobers up quickly. It’s rare to see him drunk, but when he is, he lies in Meli’s arms, takes off his goggles, clings to his datapad, and mumbles incoherently (no one can understand what he’s saying).
• Meli when drunk: Laughs a lot. She has a high alcohol tolerance but can’t stop laughing. Then she gets super clingy, kisses randomly, and even tries to undress him for reasons (she knows exactly who he is—she just wants to).
• Both drunk: Absolute disaster. They talk so much the neighbors would probably yell at them to shut up.
19. What do they argue about the most? (Or alternatively, what was their biggest fight?)
Their biggest fight happened during the reconstruction of Pabu. Meli got tangled in seaweed while diving for materials. It wasn’t a big deal, but for some reason, she fainted. Tech didn’t know why—Meli had taken off her scarf in a fit of stubbornness, meaning the nanobots on it couldn’t track her vitals. Hunter noticed something was off and called her over the comm. When she didn’t respond, they pulled her out. When she woke up, Tech absolutely went off on her, and Meli slapped him in return.
20. Who would randomly bring home a stray cat or dog?
Meli.
21. What habits does one need to adapt to in the other? (Sleep schedule, etc.)
• Meli’s legs shed fur.
• Tech works late and doesn’t sleep enough.
22. What is their love language? How do they adjust if they differ?
Tech’s is words of affirmation. Meli’s is physical touch. No adjustments needed—they both enjoy it.
23. Who initiates hugs more often?
Meli.
24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)
On Kamino, Meli was the big spoon. When Tech grew up, he became the little spoon.
25. (A bit cheesy, but…) What do they love most about each other?
• Meli: His reliability—he always has a plan for everything.
• Tech: That she listens to everything he says and actually remembers.
26. Who has worse road rage?
Meli. But realistically, Tech drives recklessly and shows off—doesn’t that count as road rage too? (LOL)
27. What’s the wildest place they’ve had sex?
Probably in The Marauder.
28. Who steals the other’s food? How does their partner react?
Tech. But it’s not really “stealing”—he’s just always hungry. Meli doesn’t mind unless he eats literally everything.
29. What was their first date like? (Brief or detailed)
Awkward blushing, clumsy hand-holding—two absolute dorks.
30. Do they use nicknames? If so, what?
Tech calls her Mely. He’s always called her that.
31. How do they celebrate anniversaries?
With a strong sense of ritual. Tech plans everything perfectly.
32. Who is more physically clingy?
Meli.
33. What would their wedding be like?
Mandalorians don’t need extravagant weddings. They made vows in front of friends—that was enough. They also have a pair of rings made from some rare material.
34. How do they comfort each other when one is upset?
By simply being there.
35. What’s their music taste?
• Meli listens to anything and everything—total chaos.
• Tech prefers more soothing music.
36. Who is more protective?
Both of them.
37. Who would want to watch Oppenheimer, and who would want to watch Barbie? Did their opinions change afterward?
Pass—those movies don’t exist in Star Wars (also, I haven’t watched them).
38. If they had kids (or pets), how would they divide parenting/caretaking responsibilities?
• Kids: Tech raises them scientifically—early education and everything. Meli is more hands-off, probably lifting the kid by the ankles and tossing them around for fun.
• Pets: Tech trains them. Meli spoils them.
39. Do they get along with each other’s families? If not, how do they handle it?
They’ve always been family—there’s no issue.
40. Who is better at holiday shopping? Who procrastinates? (Who gets more anxious?)
Meli only worries about whether they have enough money.
