Chapter Text
Tanya, or in this life, she goes by the name Ikaruga Houou. Wasn’t sure how to make about this third life. For one thing she’s now back in Japan, though she learned that it wasn’t the same Japan in her first life she once knew. At least, she doesn’t think there were super powered Shinobi who learn how to be a ninja in a secret Shinobi class masqueraded as a high school.
Her third time started quite similar to her second. She was born from poverty with no father nor mother. The people from the slums told her that her father was a dead beat and ran out on her mother once he learned she was pregnant. Her mother sadly passed away among her birth. It doesn’t exactly matter since she hardly know them, not to mention that she had to quickly adapt in the situation she was in.
Luckily, or not really in her case, she’s gotten her chance for a better life when a rich family caught their eye on her. At first, she thought it was because of her intellect, thanks to the work she volunteered for in a few charity events. But no, what they saw was her talent in combat and self-defence. Well, when you are practically born in the slums, you sort of have to arm yourself against those who would take advantage of one which they think was a naive child. Though for Ikaruga, they were greatly wrong, and her family wants that kind of grit.
Apparently, they already have a son, but he doesn’t exactly have the talent they are looking for him to inherit the heirloom, the blade called Hien, the exact blade that she now carries. Ikaruga saw the jealousy from a mile away and tried to sway her brother to take a different path. Unfortunately, he was arrogant and continuously challenged her for the right of the blade. She won every time, of course.
‘Actually, it has been quite some time since he last challenged me. I wonder if he finally matured a bit.’ Ikaruga pondered a bit while she walked to school before shaking her head. ‘No, if anything, he’s committed to taking back his pride, as fragile as it is.’ She thought with a sigh.
As she walked, she sensed someone trying to sneak up on her. But, with her Shinobi training and her experience from her second like as a soldier, not to mention that it is someone who she unfortunately comes to know. She jumped back as a girl with blond hair appeared and tried to grope her from behind.
She sighs with her hand at the bridge of her nose as she says. “Katsuragi-san, I always tell you to stop doing that. And button up your shirt, it’s unseemly.” She tells off the girl who’s the same age as her. Much to her astonishment.
Katsuragi, meanwhile, chuckles as she turns around towards her. Causing her unrestrained chest to bounce all over the place. “Oh come on~ Those boobies look so lonely. They need a good hug from their good ole friend~”
“They don’t need a hug, and you’re not a friend.” Ikaruga says back as she buttons up her shirt before she walks past her.
“Aww, what a mean thing to say. Have we not been with each other since the start of our high school career~” Katsuragi says as her shirt miraculously unbuttons itself. Either she needs a bigger shirt, or Katsuragi is intentionally leaving them open. Most likely the latter.
She knows Katsuragi means well, Ikaruga could only guess that she only meant to get her to relax. But does the girl have to do it by groping her chest nearly every day?
If there was something that Ikaruga would want to get rid of, it would be her chest. Her body is more developed than in her second life, maybe a bit too much. Her boobs may not be the biggest among the class, but it is big enough for it to be a bother, especially for her training as Shinobi. That’s why she got a custom-made bra to restrain it for any unnecessary movement. Being X was probably the cause of it. She wouldn’t put it past him.
“So, hey. You think we are getting new classmates for you know what?” Katsuragi changes the subject, and Ikaruga knew the look of her face without even looking at it.
“Most likely, and don’t you dare do your greeting. Asuka-san could still feel what you did to her.” Ikaruga says, though she knows it is meaningless at this point.
“Aww come on~ It is all in good fun.” She says unapologetic as they came to the school.
‘Another day of a Shinobi, I guess.’
