Ever since Zoro saw Sanji, his heart beated faster.
His hair was shining like gold, and it swayed beautifully with the wind everytime he stared.
He thought that maybe his feelings for Sanji would soften a little, but he couldn't bear his feelings much longer.
The more he stared; admired, and felt his face warming up, the more he knew his love would eventually spill out anyways.
"I love you."
Zoro finally admitted. The trees swayed and the air still felt thin.
"And you wanted to tell me in the clouds?"
Sanji asked, his expression rejecting the tone of his own voice.
"Yea."
"I kinda thought it was obvious. Unless you never saw me staring at you for a concerningly long time."
Zoro snorted as he bluntly admitted again, but a blush crept on his face.
Sanji pouted, his face warming.
"I guess I'm pretty then."
That struck something in Zoro's chest.
