Sonic checked the clock as he made himself breakfast. It was 7:30 am. Shadow, who had stayed the night, should have been up by now. Oh well, he'll get up eventually, Sonic thought. But after an hour had passed since breakfast, he knew he would need to wake Shadow up himself. As he walked up to the guest room Shadow was sleeping in, he wondered how he would wake him up. Suddenly, Sonic remembered something. Shadow was ticklish. He had a good way to wake him up now.
Sonic opened the door and walked toward the bed. "C'mon Shadow, you have to get now," he said. Shadow just grumbled uncooperatively. "Well, you did this to yourself," Sonic said, before reaching under the covers to tickle the ebony hedgehog's side. Shadow immediately started trying to pry Sonic's hands off him. "Gehet ohohoff, let me slehehep," he giggled. "Not until you agree to get up and enjoy this beautiful day," Sonic replied cooly. "Okahay, Okahahay Ihim getting uhuhup!"
Once he was fully awake, Shadow made himself breakfast. It really did look great outside. Maybe he should've gotten up earlier after all.
