No one was supposed to find out, it was a well-kept secret among all of Seventeen, and also the company's, it was just a small oversight, Caratland had ended and Wonwoo had performed his last performance on stage before beginning his "military service"...or so it was made known to his fans and the public.
Everyone had moved to a restaurant to have dinner and celebrate their great performance, until everyone's cell phones started ringing with thousands of notifications on Weverse with a specific topic: Is Wonwoo pregnant?
The noise that was once in the restaurant was left in second place when 13 people started looking at each other (Jeonghan had found time to go after finishing his work day of his service)... thousands of comments with the same question Is Wonwoo pregnant? and attached to this a photo where you could see a very happy Wonwoo jumping on the stage so his shirt accidentally rode up showing an adorable baby bump... which was not out of the realm of reality, Wonwoo was certainly carrying a little baby inside him but no one outside the company was supposed to find out.
They lied to their fans!?...yes a little (too much) and to the public in general, but hey, there is an excellent justification for this!
Was that baby a mistake? Something unplanned? Who's the other father? Well, that baby was better planned than you and I, so don't worry, and the father, well...
-Oh geez, I think I'm going to throw up- Wonwoo started hyperventilating, he didn't think this would come out...well not so fast, he was supposed to be on duty, not on maternity leave or whatever it's called.
"Hyung, Wonwoo hyung, calm down. He's going to hurt Bongbong." A very upset Mingyu ran to his hyung's side to try to calm him down. "Wonwoo breathe with me. Everything will be okay. Look at me, okay?"
-Min, they know, they know I'm expecting a baby, everything is going to end badly, they'll think I did it to leave Carat aside and not share the news with them, what are we going to do? It wasn't supposed to turn out like this-
Mingyu watched as Wonwoo's eyes began to fill with tears. Indeed, this wasn't supposed to happen like this. Wonwoo's pregnancy shouldn't have been hidden from his fans, and above all, using the service as a cover was the only way to keep them safe, Wonwoo and his baby.
Even though Bongbong had been planned with great care and love, when they received the news... Mingyu fainted and the rest of Seventeen celebrated but there was a problem, that little thing was very weak, to carry the pregnancy to term Wonwoo needed special care and his busy life as an idol wouldn't provide it, the constant strict diets, the continuous trips and pressures that come with being an idol would put the pregnancy at risk so together with the company they decided to hide it.
Although the service thing is not a lie, not entirely since in the end Wonwoo will be a public servant with a schedule that is too flexible for someone of his condition... only the pregnancy was what they had to hide, it was supposed that once serving they stay away from the cameras and the fans and that was what seventeen was looking for for Wonwoo but now that the news is circulating thanks to that photo where his adorable baby bump is shown, things could get complicated.
-Wonwoo, everything will be okay I promise, we'll try to fix it but first, everyone should go home now and rest- S.Coups had decided to end their meeting, everything had gotten out of control and now they needed to find a way to fix this without damaging their fans' trust in them even more in the process, since many comments were starting to talk about why they hadn't shared the news with them and that they felt bad for having left them aside.
It is known that the life of an idol is practically saying goodbye to your privacy, to your secrets, but sometimes there are priorities like this time when the main priority is to make Wonwoo feel safe and make Wonwoo and Mingyu's little family grow, even so they would have had to lie a little to Carat and he hoped that when the time came, they would understand.
Wonwoo and Mingyu arrived home, Mingyu helped Wonwoo sit on his couch to rest and headed to the kitchen to get some water for his hyung.
-Wonwoo, are you feeling better?- Mingyu looked at Wonwoo trying to decipher if he was okay, he could still see his slightly distant gaze, as if he was still thinking about many things, until he decided to give a little kiss to his adorable little belly, that's when Wonwoo reacted, they were at home, in the safety of his home and he was finally able to relax.
-What are you doing Mingyu?- Wonwoo grabbed his hair, pulling just a little so Mingyu would look into his eyes from where he was. -I'm just giving Bongbong a kiss.- Mingyu smiled adorably at Wonwoo and he smiled back.
-Thank you- Wonwoo thanked Mingyu, this perfect man who was willing to do anything for his baby and he was his, how lucky he truly was. -I love you Min- Mingyu continued smiling at Wonwoo, he looked more precious every day, the pregnancy was doing him wonderfully.
-Hyung don't worry, we'll fix it I promise, everyone will help us- Wonwoo knew that in the end everything would be resolved, he trusted that the Carats would be understanding about why they hid their pregnancy and when they explained it everything would be fine. And the media...well, it's not like they didn't know beforehand that he was pregnant and why they hid it, it's really scary how the news media is made, fortunately for Seventeen, they were loved by many media so that helped them not to leak certain information.
-Hyung, are you hungry?- Mingyu kissed Wonwoo and headed towards his kitchen, Wonwoo was starting to think about what he would eat, he had too many cravings, but spicy Buldak was off his list for now, it was really sad because he loves it with all his heart, but the doctor recommended reducing his consumption of this type of soups for the baby.
-You can cook whatever you want Min, surprise me- Wonwoo was fine with anything his husband cooked, everything was delicious, since he couldn't finish his group dinner, he was still hungry, besides now he was eating for two.
--Okay, it will be something delicious and healthy, I'll even make dessert just give me a few minutes- Mingyu would make thousands of dishes just for his Wonwoo hyung but now or 5 months ago a little person had been added to the list of diners and he really loved it, maybe when he was old enough he would teach his adorable Bongbong how to cook... there was still a lot of time to enjoy, so for now he would put all his effort and dedication into helping Wonwoo in whatever way he could.
-Mingyu!?- Mingyu had heard Wonwoo call him from the living room, he simply peeked through the door so Wonwoo could see that he was paying attention to whatever the older man wanted to tell him.
-Min, have you thought about a name for our baby, I mean, Bongbong is his nickname inside my belly, but have you thought about a name that you like for him or her? - It should be noted that both want to keep it a secret whether it will be a boy or a girl, the important thing for both is that the baby is born healthy, so until now that Wonwoo asks that, Mingyu had never thought about a name.
Mingyu fed Wonwoo and him, Wonwoo had become too adorable for him to want to do everything for him, dress him, feed him... if Wonwoo would let him carry him always like he did in Caratland, they would do it without thinking.
"Do you think he can hear me?" Mingyu placed his head on Wonwoo's small belly. "I think he's still too little, Min. I don't think he can hear you, can he? We should ask the doctor when I have my next appointment." Mingyu looked at him and nodded.
It was already past 12 when they went to sleep, they were still nervous about what would happen in the future, but they had each other and the rest of Seventeen on their side and they hoped that Carat would stay with them despite everything, they would find a way to let them know every detail so that they would perform, before getting into bed with Mingyu, Wonwoo went to the bathroom and while he finished his cleaning routine an idea came to him, it might be simple but at least, it could decrease Carat's uncertainty about whether or not he was pregnant.
Once in the comfort of his bed, Wonwoo presented his idea to Mingyu - What if I upload a picture of my belly, well, where it can be seen that there is indeed a baby inside... what do you think? - Wonwoo looked at Mingyu expectantly, this could have been a perhaps very silly idea and that was why Mingyu said nothing - Or well, forget it, maybe this is all very silly, sorry - Wonwoo was starting to feel out of place, his idea was definitely silly, he should let Couos and Mingyu find something better or... - I like it - Mingyu had finally spoken and the idea seemed good to him.
-Hyung, would you let me take the photo, I have an idea along with yours- Wonwoo looked curiously at Mingyu, even so he let him do whatever he wanted.
-Lift up your pajamas to show your belly- Mingyu had started giving instructions to Wonwoo and he started to listen to him, leaving enough space where his small belly could be shown, suddenly Mingyu put his hand on it and took the photo.
Wonwoo curiously asked Mingyu what putting his hand on her belly would add - wait hyung, you'll see- Mingyu took his phone and entered Weverse, attached the photo he had just taken and wrote something, then he put his phone down and told Wonwoo it was time to sleep, tomorrow would be another day.
It was 10 in the morning when Wonwoo had just woken up, they no longer had schedules so for now they were free, he took his cell phone and realized that he had even more notifications in all his accounts both weverse and Instagram, he hadn't heard it during the night because he was very tired, so with fear he decided to read some comments, honestly many of them called him liars, of having betrayed Carat but many more said phrases like "YES, I WILL BE AN AUNT", "I hope it's a girl", "I hope it's a boy" "we're going to have a little miniseventeen" "wonwoo and mingyu will bring their son or daughter to the concerts when they grow up, Carat promises to take care of him or her while you work hehe" and so on countless messages full of love and suddenly he found one that said:
Our babies are going to have their baby, when did he grow so much? Wonwoo's belly is adorable, no wonder Wonwoo shines a lot today, and Mingyu was even more clingy with him hehe, if it were me I wouldn't leave the love of my life or well, the loves of my life ... Wonwoo and Mingyu, I am honestly happy for you, you are already forming your little family, I will not say that it did not hurt me to have felt that Carat was excluded from this but if we are all reasonable, we must understand that there are things that are kept just for you and there must be a great reason and even if there was not, we must respect it, we as fans give us a lot of peace and joy so do not worry, Carat will wait as long as necessary if one day you want to talk about it, Wonwoo, Mingyu will be a great father, believe me there are not so many people like that in the world, I wish you to love each other for the rest of your lives and that your baby is healthy.

Possibly the tears forming in his eyes were because of the pregnancy, because normally he wasn't like that, Wonwoo had become a little mass full of many feelings.
Mingyu heard small hiccups and woke up quickly, the first thing he noticed was Wonwoo caressing his belly and he got scared - Are you okay!?, What happened!?, Does it hurt?, Let's go to the doctor!!!- Mingyu was about to run out and take Wonwoo with him when suddenly Wonwoo stopped him.
-No Min, I'm fine, we're fine, you... you're so... I love you so much- And Wonwoo cried, but not out of sadness, but out of the immense love and gratitude he felt for Mingyu, he told him that the vast majority of the messages Carat wrote were of support and a lot of love towards his baby, although many others were not pleasant, with this Mingyu took the phone away from him and made him promise that until they properly fixed everything he would return it to him, this mainly so as not to upset him and that he would be curious to read the comments and find some that could end up hurting him.
They were days of rest, Cookscoups was approaching for Wonwoo, which would be the last program he would record before leaving, so they took that day to do nothing, just enjoy each other's company, Mingyu loved to give kisses to Wonwoo's tummy and talk to her, although Wonwoo had already told him that maybe Bongbong still couldn't hear him, anyway, they were both inexperienced in that subject, Wonwoo would let Mingyu do whatever he wanted, let Mingyu shower him and his baby with so much love, that made him very happy.

Dear Carat it’s been 10 years now, we’ve laughed, cried and done many other things throughout all these years and I’m grateful for that, for all your support, I remember when each of us were presenting our second gender, thank you for accepting this family full of alphas and omegas. When I found out that Wonwoo hyung was an omega I was scared because I thought I would find someone who deserved his heart more than me, I felt lost and sad, Wonwoo is my sunshine, he’s what makes me want to be a better person, what keeps my feet anchored, when I found out we were destined I cried (sorry, I’m a crybaby), I promised him that I would protect him forever (he didn’t know it but since I met him I had already promised him). Together we’ve laughed, cried we’ve even fought, but it always ends with talking and a kiss (don’t tell him I wrote the last part).
Bongbong is the nickname for our little doughy one. Here inside this tummy is our little baby. He was made with so much love and affection. All of his uncles and aunts are waiting for him. We still don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but that will be a surprise we'll give you in the future. We're so sorry for making you feel like we're leaving you out. Give us time and we'll explain why. I could even write it here, but it doesn't seem appropriate.
From now on, one more member joins the Seventeen family, now Dino will no longer be the smallest hehe, Carat thanks if you took the time to read up to this point, I promise to try harder and make you feel more proud of me....god I can't believe I'm going to be a father!!!!
