Work Text:
Micheal opened his eyes to find himself in what seemed to be a room full of wires and various electrical stuff strewn about.
“What…where…?” Micheal took a few minutes to gather his bearings.
“This place looks so familiar,” Micheal thought to himself. “Where am I?”
Then it hit him.
Literally, just as he realized where he was, a vent opened below him and hit him directly in the…well, below place. Suffice to say, Micheal swore and fell over as a red Crewmate from Among Us came out of the vent…or, it would be a Crewmate, if it weren’t for the mouth on the chest of him and the fact he just vented.
Micheal fell onto the ground, pain searing in his body.
“HOLY CRAP-“ Red yelled, startled. “Don’t scare me like that!”
Having (somehow) recovered from the agony, Micheal got up. “YOU WERE THE ONE WHO SLAMMED THAT VENT INTO MY CROTCH! And…why aren’t you killing me?”
“Kill you? Why the heck would I do that? You’re one of us!”
“One of-what? Wait…” Micheal looked at his body.
His color was Blue, and he looked exactly like a Crewmate, if it weren’t for the fact that he had a mouth on his chest. It wasn’t even an Impostor mouth, it looked different. “OH HOLY-“
“…Wait a second, now that I think about it, we don’t have a Blue teammate…who are you?”
“…I don’t even know. I thought I knew who I was, but now I’m not sure…there wasn’t a Blue Impostor…was there?”
“Yeah, I already said there wasn’t.”
“I wasn’t talking to you.”
“You know, whatever. Who are you and why do you look like us?”
“I already answered your question. I don’t know.”
It would probably not be good to inform anyone that their entire life and reality was fake, so Micheal had to come up with a lie.
“I just appeared here, and I look like you for some reason.”
“Well, I would just kill you, but I’m not sure if you count as an Impostor or not, and Black would kill me if I ended up killing one of our own. So just…come with me. I’ll bring you to the others.”
“Why not, I guess?”
Red jumped into the vent, and Micheal followed.
After a few turns, Red and Micheal entered a large room that didn’t appear to be in any of the games.
“Where are we?”
“This is a place in the center of the vent system, where we can talk without any crew members hearing us.”
“Who the hell are you?”
Micheal turned around to see Green pointing a knife at him. Not in a threatening way, it was more like just pointing in his direction in place of a finger.
“I’m Micheal.”
“No, I meant-it was supposed to be-“ Green made an annoyed groan. “You know what, fine. Whatever. Why do you look like us?”
“I don’t know.”
“What do you mean you don’t know?!”
“I literally have no idea, I’m not even joking. Also, where are the others?”
Green raised an eyebrow at that. “Since when did I tell you there were others?”
“Uh-I just assumed?”
Green gave Micheal a suspicious look, before deciding that it wasn’t worth his time. “White’s somewhere on the Airship, Maroon’s probably slacking off on Polus near the lava pit, Pink’s screwing up somewhere, Grey-I don’t even want to know what he’s doing, Monotone is-actually, I’ve never really seen him before, Black’s…well, he just said he ‘had something important to do’ and left, Loggo’s celebrating Christmas on Halloween or something like that, and Red Mungus is doing something stupid like usual. Seeing as you’re not technically a Crewmate, I’m not going to kill you, but I’m not sure if you count as an Impostor. I also just don’t care, so I’m leaving.”
With that, Green left the room and entered a vent.
Micheal saw a vent that was labeled “POLUS”, and entered it.
He exited the vent, right next to Maroon.
“AH!” Maroon yelled, jumping. “Sh*t! Who the hell are you?!”
“Mi-.”
“You know what, I don’t give a sh*t, I’m just calling you Blue.”
“…okay?”
“Since when did we have a Blue teammate?”
“You’re asking the wrong person. What are you doing here right now?”
“Waiting for some idiot to come by, then I shove ‘em into the lava pit.”
“Uh-“ Micheal stepped back.
“Not you, moron! A Crewmate.”
“Oh. Yeah. I knew that.”
“Whatever. Wait, here comes one now!” Maroon pushed Micheal into the vent.
“Hi!” you heard an unfamiliar voice.
“Hello…hey, wanna jump into this cool pit?”
“…excuse me?”
“It’ll be really cool!”
“…won’t I die?”
“Yes! That’s the point-er. I mean. No you won’t?”
Micheal decided now was the time to exit.
“Yeah, that was the worst try I’ve ever heard, Maroon.”
You realized the person there was Yellow, with her two children.
