One sunny afternoon a group of friends were walking down the Halifax pier. They had a beaver tails in their hands and where chatting away.
“I’m going to miss doing this Apple” Luca said
“Me too Luca, but it would be fun to go to Japan”
“What are me and A? Chopped Liver?" Kai asked
“Ya are we?” A added
“No of course not” Apple and Luca said laughing
The group of friends find a bench to sit down on as they finished their snack.
“Say Apple?” Kai asked
“Ya, what is it?”
“How does your aunt like about you going to Japan?”
“Shes cool with it, I mean she also had to give consent for me to even go”
Kai nods her head.
"What made you even decide to go to Japan" Luca asked
"I don't know really. Mostly because I wanted to go travel the world and I managed to get a scholarship to True Cross Academy" Apple replied as she wiped her face from any leftover crumbs.
"The fact that you got that just proves how amazing you are, Apple" Kai said, giving her friend a hug.
"I guess so," Apple replied as she hugged Kai back.
The group continued to hang out and talk to each other as they wandered the pier late into the night, while they were by the drunk light post installation a creature suddenly ran at them from the darkness. A and Kai screamed as it lunged towards them
“What is that?” Apple asked looking confused ‘It isn’t a demon’ she thought to herself
“I don’t know, also how did I get this gun and dagger in my hands?” Luca asked
“What happened?” Kai voice came from the gun
“I think the twins are the weapons…:” Apple said confused
Before either would react against the creature lunged again but was stopped by a scythe followed by a girl. Soon two males showed up with weapons of their own. The group quickly took work of the creature.
“Who are you guys?” Apple asked more confused than ever
“We are mesiters from Death Weapon Academy. I am Maka and this is my partner Soul” Maka said as the scythe in her hand turned into a boy.
“People can turn into weapons…is that what the twins A and Kai did?” Luca asked as he raised the two weapons in his hands
“Yes, although I don’t think I have seen twins have different weapon types, I am Kid” Kid replied
“ The blue haired boy on the lamp post yelling nonsense is Blackstar. Also A and Kai just focus on yourself and you should be able to transform back” Maka said
The twins focused as they managed to turn back “Thank you” they said together
“This is really confusing, more confusing than the logistics of going to Japan” Apple said as she shook her head
“Say, do you think the twins could learn from where you guys said you are from?” Luca asked
“I believes so, you could as well since you were able to hold them without any trouble” Kid said
“Wait, what about Apple can she go to?” A asked
“A I can’t, I already am going to Japan remember and I don’t want to lose out on my scholarship. You guys go and learn. We will see each other again. Anyways I need to go and get ready because I have a long journey ahead of me” Apple said before she walked off
“Your friend seems rather unusual” Kid said
“Apple can be a little weird sometimes. But I do think it's a good idea to go” Luca responded
“I will call my dad and get it all arnagged. Meet us at the airport in the afternoon around 3” Kid said before the group walked off leaving only the twins and Luca
“So you will be our partner for this?” Kai asked
“Yes I will. Lets just hope Apple’s adventure won’t be as eventful as ours” Luca replied before giving the twins a hug.
