Sharing a wireless ear bud could never be as romantic as what the two were doing right now.
Both on a plane from America back to Japan, having successfully completed a month-long mission in the states, Izuku and his fiancé, Katsuki, were flying first class, courtesy of All Might.
Currently, the sun was setting and the sky was an explosion of orange and pink. He turned his head slightly to look at the beautiful man next to him, reading his book with reading glasses that izuku so adored.
Both of the men were connected by a singular pair of earphones, the cable tangled into Katsuki's pocket were it was kept.
The thing about sharing earphones is, you have to be careful not to get too far of the person you’re sharing it with, because it could slip out. It’s almost as if you and that person are physically bound, with a type of fragile connection.
Izuku always enjoyed when Katsuki silently offered to share something with him, especially earphones. He couldn’t care less about what music was playing, whether it was rock or smooth jazz. All he cared about was that Katsuki and him were together and connected by a singular wire, it was one of the many subtle ways the two showed their love for one another, how much they adored one another.
Izuku sighed blissfully and sat his head on his fiancés shoulder, looking at some of the words off the pages his fiancé was reading, slowly but surely, it began to get darker and Izuku began to doze off. Still sharing the earphones as Izuku sleeps, Katsuki takes it carefully out of both of their ears and kisses Izuku lightly on the head.
