Coiny was just admiring the scenery.Simply living in the moment.He always enjoyed sunsets, they were always so peaceful and colourful.
Of course, he’d made mistakes, many, many of them, but life goes on.And he knew he had people he count on.
“Hey, Coiny!”speak of the devil.He would recognise that voice from anywhere.
He twisted around to meet eyes with her,”Book!”
She greeted him with a warm smile.He loved her smile.
“I haven’t seen you in so long!How’ve you been?”
“I’ve been great!I finally met up with Pin again, and I’ve been meeting new people here, like Taggy and Winner!”
Her gaze softened,”that’s good to hear!I’ve felt a little better too since I made up with Ice Cube.”
Her expression subtly grew into one of mischief.
“But I’m feeling a lot better, now that you’re here!”she winked cheerily.
…Ah.
Coiny felt his face heat up.
“Book, that’s so cheesy!”he laughed.
“I know, I know!But I can tell it works on you!”she chuckled,”Your face is approximately 14 degrees celsius warmer than before!”
“Wha-PFFT!How do you know that?!”
“I’m a chemistry textbook!~”
“You do NOT mean science, and you know it!”he playfully elbowed her shoulder.
“…No.No I do not.”
He stared at her, face dusted in red.
“…You’re such a dork.”
“Says you!”
“Says YOU!”
“I bet you recite your ‘heroic’ speeches you make before bed!”
“And I bet YOU recite all 50 American States before bed!”
“I’ll NEVER forget about Texas!”
They both exploded into a fit of laughter.Oh lord.
“Nerd.”
“Idiot.”
“…This conversation has already went so far off the rails.”
“I know.”
…
“What do we do now?”
“I have no idea…”
…She suddenly got the urge to do something she might regret.
“Wait, yes I do!”
Without thinking twice, she firmly pressed her lips to his cheek.
…Oh my god.
Did she just do that?Why the hell did she just do that?!
She quickly pulled away, carrying a giddy, yet very nervous smile.
“Uhh…sorry.I probably shouldn’t have done that…”
A moment of silence passed between the two.
“…There’s nothing to be sorry about, Book!I didn’t mind.”
“…You…didn’t?”
“Not at all.”
“…So, in other words, I can do it again?”

“Yes.”he deadpanned.
She pecked his cheek again, this time with more confidence.
“So… what does this mean for us?”she questioned after pulling away.
“Whatever you want it to.”
“…So, in that case, you’re my boyfriend now.”
“I guess.”

“…Wow, what a charmer.”she chuckled playfully.
“A charmer indeed.”his smile widened.
I guess they’re dating now.
