"Remember that you must die." All beings, regardless of their nature, follow this simple rule established by Fate.
Nothing, no one can escape death; it is simply one's final destination after they have fulfilled their purpose.
Even then, it is also natural for them to fight against it, for it is what gives them purpose, meaning.
Still, Fate must have its just desserts for maintaining this order. To disrupt it can only return in swift punishment.
However, the servant of fate carried on nonetheless. Carrying memories of the martyr, she dared to return the martyr from an untimely death.
Her hope was granted, on one condition:
Don't look back.
Hearing this simple proposal, she began to leave the Underworld. The martyr would be given another chance at life, a chance to find peace in the aftermath of the sacrifice.

... Is it really right to defy Fate like this, when she of all people should know better? Through this, she is defying death, thus defying the natural order of the world.
If the seal is broken, Death will be released once again.
Wouldn't it reverse the sacrifice?
For a moment's breath, she turned to consider. But she saw it.
The ghost on her trail was barely human, metal for a body, a soul for a head. Only through the martyr's memories could she recognize this atrocity.
The disfigured martyr sang its requiem.
