007n7 sat on the porch of his house, looking out into the night sky. A gentle look on his face as the stars twinkled. It was odd to think about how his life used to be. A criminal, exploiting for his own selfishness and causing pain to others.
Now he felt contemptment, he was growing as a person. The robloxian never thought he would. He and his roommate would hack back in college. But.. all that was in the past.
He heard the door behind him slowly open up, 007n7 turned around and saw a small red horned head poking out the doorway. 007n7 laughed a little.
“it's okay kid, I won't get mad at ya’. Have another nightmare?” He said gently, crouching down and opening his arms. His son quickly ran into his arms, sniffling with big tears in his eyes.
007n7 picked up the 7 year old, wiping the tears from his eyes. Looking as the other's tail curled around his forearm. C00lkidd was trying to calm his own breaths and curled into his dad. 7n7 rubbed at his back and went to sit down once more with his kid.
“Daddy.. you won't leave me right?” C00lkidd spoke up, voice shaky and weak. The fathers eyes widened “no, of course not. What made you think that?”.
C00lkidd looked away and at the floor, his little clawed hands digging into 7n7’s shirt a little “I'm just.. really scared… I dunno… ever since Mr Elliot said we can't go to the pizza place anymore..”.
007n7 gave a sad look, he knew C00lkidd looked up to the pizza boy.. “it's going to be alright kid, I'd never leave you. You're the most important thing in my life.”.
He gave the kiss a kiss on the forehead “cmon, let's get you back to bed.”.
C00lkidd gave his father puppy dog eyes “can I sleep with you tonight.”. 7n7 smiled gently “of course, I'll make sure to scare all the bad dreams away.”.
The kid smiled happily as his dad began to go inside the house, closing and locking the door behind him. A yawn left the exhackers lips as he went upstairs, soon stepping foot into his bedroom.
He went to set down C00lkidd, the child getting comfortable in the bed. And 007n7 went to lay down as well, his son moving quickly to curl into his dads side.
007n7 wrapped his arm around him, C00lkidd looked up at him expectantly “can you tell the story about the Drakobloxxer again papa.”.
The father smiled, taking off his glasses and setting them on the bed side table “sure thing kid.”.
007n7 cleared his throat and began to put on his best ‘narrator’ voice for the story, his son found it amusing “alright, there once was a little Drakobloxxer who was very special from the rest. It was smaller and its scales were a shimmering grey in comparison to the others.”.
“The little dinosaur was seen as odd by the others. And they would leave the poor guy alone” 007n7 knew it started off sad but his son loved the story, “but one day an older Drakobloxxer decided to speak to the grey one. Speaking to them softly.”.
007n7 put on a softer voice “it said ‘even though you are different, remember the others are just jealous of how special you are. How could they not be? Your scales shimmer like the clouds or ripples in water, don't let them make you feel down’. The little Drakobloxxer looked up to them to see it was their mother.”.
“Little Grey hadn't seen their mama in days and teared up, nuzzling into her side. Their mama nuzzled back ‘even if you feel bad, remember baby that I'll always love you. Even if you aren't like the others’.” he finished off the story.
He looked to the side to see his son's eyes slipping closed, hugging onto a plush toy of a Drakobloxxer. 007n7 closed his eyes and went to begin drifting off with his child beside him. “Love you papa..” he heard a sleepy voice say.
The father smiled sleepily, his vision soon going dark “love you too kid..”.
