“Ah- finally back” Gen opened the door.
”Mentalist, you’re done with work so late”
”Yes, i had a photo shoot today for my next magazine issue and had to film some last minute scenes for the video that’s getting posted with it, I barely had a break to rest before left.”
”Well you can rest up now, I’ll start to prepare dinner after i put my equipment away.” Senku stood up from his. Seat at the experiment table and started gathering thing up.
”Woah looks like I wasn’t the only one busy today huh Senku?” Gen smirked slightly.
”Yeah I’ve been doing some experimenting with a few new things people brought into the lab last week since this weeks my time off”
”Isn’t time off supposed to mean a break from this kinda thing?”
”Eh, who cares it’s more of a side project type thing anyways”
”Alright then.”
”I’m gonna start the food now, you can put your stuff away while i cook okay?”
”Yup”
a few minutes pass before Gen hears a strange noise come from near the kitchen
Ah man i was just getting dressed, Gen thought.
”Wah!, what the heck happened here Senku!? Why are you on the floor? Are you okay??”
”Calm down mentalist, i just fell it’s no big deal really-“
Before Senku could get another thought in his mind Gen hurriedly picked him up and turned off the heat on the burner.
”Senku-Chan, you need to be more careful”
”I DONT NEED YOUR HELP GEN I CAN GET UP MYSELF JUST FINE” Senku squirmed around in Gen’s arms.
”Yea course you can” Gen said sarcastically looking at Senkus knee which was bleeding slightly.
”That’s nothing alright”
”Uh huh, sure”
Gen quickly set Senku down on the nearby couch and grabbed a bandaid from one of the cabinets.
”Here.” Gen put ointment on the bandaid and applied it to Senkus wound.
”Thanks.” Senku looked at Gen next to him.
”Would you like me to kiss it for good measure?”
”WHA-“
“Just kidding alright how about the cheek?” Gen leaned closer to Senku and gave him a peck on the cheek.
”um, thanks again, you didn’t have to do all that though, it was basically just a scratch.”
”Well it’s my duty to protect you so-“
”Who said it was?”
”Thats besides the point okay!”
”Ah man, now it’s too late for me to make dinner.” Senku looked down.
”I’ll just order takeout then”
”You’re the best Gen, love you.”
”I love you too Senku.”
