Now, While Scrapmetal did prefer being on the Guardians Side compared to being a villain (They even let him repair Ultima so that's a plus), There were… Some things about their defences that he was confused about.
This became apparent when one day, when he was coming back from a Recon mission, And the front Door was closed.
Which wouldn’t normally be an issue if the door wasn’t locked with a keypad for a change.
“Damn, we Added Keypad doors?” He said, glancing up at the door, before heading over to the keypad and entering what he thought the password would be (given they used his tech), 1987. "There we go-"
That didn’t work.
“Wow, They know how to change passwords. Shocker! Well then...” He inputted Yen Sid’s favourite Number, 1923, and that didn’t work.
" Motherfu- Ok. This must be it...” He put in the favorite number of their other Engineer, Xion, which was 29102009, and despite them probably being the one to change it, that didn’t work either.
“What?? Ugh...” Getting sick of this, He inputted His overwrite Code that he left in all his machines just in case, ‘100 95 100 95 68 111 119 110 68 111 119 110 76 101 102 116 82 105 103 104 116 76 101 102 116 116 82 105 103 104 116 81 80’ And…
A message appeared on the keypad screen.
“Hey Scrapmetal, Probably! If you are reading this, You just put in your overwrite code, unfortunately, as the Old man requested it, I had to remove it. Sorry! – Xion :P”
“… OH FOR FU- “ In a blind Rage, Scrapmetal put in 1 four times.
That Worked.
“Are… ARE YOU SERIOUS???? THE PASSWORD TO OUR BASE, A PLACE THAT IS MEANT TO BE HARD TO ENTER, IS 1111!?!?!”
One Mental Breakdown Later
Scrapmetal rubbed his mechanical eye “I am so changing that… Later, When I get some sleep.” Before Scrapmetal could even take a single step, A Commander and a few Soldiers appear Behind Him.
That He immediately threw a potion at, sending them all flying. “No. Not dealing with that.” Then, two armoured hands appeared, followed by two armoured feet, then the Body, revealing A Powered Armour "Oh my light..." His hands move to grab his ax. "You are gonna regret showing up."
Yeah after dealing with... that, He Sent a complaint to Xion about the keypad code, Who then sent it to Yen Sid, but that’s a story for another day.
But on the Bright side, That Keypad’s Password is way better now! It’s now 3282002!
