Summary:

ARE YOU HAPPY, LUKAS? HERES YOUR MPREG 💔💔

or; ranpo gives birth to dazai:(

PS: I didn’t do my research. I only know like 3 or 4 characters maybe but what I do know is I was paid in watermelon gum to write this. It is cold in my room and my fingers are freezing up so it took me an extremely long time to create this interesting work of fiction.

Notes:

but why.

I’ve never given birth before so idk

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“Are you okay, my honey bunches of beautiful pregnancy?” Poe’s calm voice rang out, a gentle hand brushing the shorter’s shoulder.

Ranpo was sat on the shared couch, salty tears staining his puffy cheeks. His rounded stomach rested against his thighs, the weight momentarily taken off of his back.

“Im..” he sniffled, leaning over to bury his face in Poe’s shoulder. “Im okay..”

“Are you sure, sweetheart? I wouldn’t want you or little Dazai (???) getting hurt.. you can tell me if something feels off, you know that, right?” Poe purred, stroking Ranpo’s… black? brown?.. hair.

“I think im giving..” Ranpo whined. “Giving birth..” He curled in on himself, wrapping his little hands around his belly.

Poe’s attention focused, and his expression sharpened yet still kept its gentle undertone.

“Are you sure?”

“I am! I know, I am!”

“Good for you.. im a doctor!”

“…no you aren’t?..”

“I am! I even have this license!”

“Poe, that’s a birth certificate.. YOUR birth certificate.”

Oh!

Oh.

Oh.

“Okay, well maybe im not certified, but I can still make this work!”

AGGYSUHHHHHHH

(birth noises. ew.)

“It’s a boy!” Poe called out, flashing a pearly smile at his exhausted kitten.

“Little Dazai..” Ranpo panted out, making grabby hands at his newborn. Poe handed him over carefully.

“Beautiful, just like his father..” Poe muttered, tears pricking his eyes.

Notes:

no srs why

I didn’t know who to make the baby so I made it dazai ❤️

“make it good though, okay?”

“good as in like.. good good? or terrible good?”

“…terrible good”

“I can make that happen.”
