『』Petunia 'Evans' Dursley『』

♥︎ Summer of 1974 ♥︎

People always notice Lily. The pretty twin. A badge of honor Lily wears. Smart Twin and Pretty Twin. Lily casts a large powerful shadow over her.

Who can blame them though? Lily has bright orange straight hair and muted meadows for eyes. So good and piercing. Then there's Petunia. Curly brown hair and dark brown eyes of the devil.

"God clearly favors Lily." Petunia thinks to herself bitterly. Why else would everyone notice Lily? Petunia feels her eyes watered as she sees the birthday cake for her. On the boring pale brown counter is a two tier birthday cake covered in white frosting and rainbow sprinkles. Then on the bottom tier in big black letters it says,

Happy Thirteenth Birthday Lily Evans!

Then as if to smack Petunia in the face her birthday cake is right next to Lily's cake. A small birthday cake covered in dull purple frosting and on white lettering it says,

Happy Thirteenth Birthday Petunia Evans!

No one is there for her. Everyone is with Lily. Their parents, James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Bellatrix Black, Narcisa Black and Serverus Snape. . . Petunia invited three people and none of them came. Why? She looks down and feels the tears catch on her lash line. But then there's a knock. It must be the last Black sibling, Andromeda. Petunia goes to the door and opens it. "Hi Andromeda!" Petunia says in a shaky voice.

But it wasn't them. She blinks in surprise. It's Vernon Dursley. "I'm so sorry Vernon!" Petunia says.

"It's fine. You invited me?" He says. Vernon is short and he has pale blond hair with the brightest of blue eyes. He's so pretty. . .

"I did. I didn't think you would come. . ." Petunia says.

"How come?" Vernon asks as he enters the Evans house.

"I'm not sure." Petunia says shyly as she shows him to where the dining room.

♥︎ Summer of 1981 ♥︎

"Lily, look at me. Breathe." Petunia says gently as she has her son Dudly in a baby sling. Petunia is holding Lily's hand.

"I'm gonna die!" Lily cries out.

"You aren't." Petunia calmly says as she gently gives Lily some water to drink.

"Where's James?!"

". . . I'm not sure."

Petunia talks Lily through everything and finally the healthy baby boy is there.

"Lily, you have a happy baby boy." Petunia says as she allows her twin sister to hold the baby. "What do you want to name him?"

"Harry."

"Isn't that the name James hate?"

"I don't care. If he wasn't here for the birth then I can name him Harry." Lily snaps. Petunia nods and puts Harry down as the name.

"Middle name?"

"James."

Petunia nods.

"Ah, hello Mrs and Mr Evans. Please have a seat." Albus says softly.

The parents sat down on the seats.

"You said your worried about Petunia?" Mrs Evans asks.

"Yes. She has been withdrawing more."

"And?"

"People always compare Petunia and Lily, I think it's really affecting Petunia."

"And what if it is? She's the smart twin and Lily is the pretty twin." Mr Evans says.

"Petunia is a very pretty young lady just like Lily." Albus says.

They don't say anything at that.

♥︎ Autunm of 1965 ♥︎

Petunia slides across the slippery floor with fizzy socks like her and Lily does many times before. She feels the air rush past her hair as he slides around giggling. But then she trips and busts her chin open. The pain pulses around her body as she screams bloody murder. Then Petunia cannot remember anything after that.

"It's okay, it's fine. It's just a date!" Petunia mutters to herself as she looks at what she's wearing. A burnt orange skirt that goes above her knees, dark brown tights, Mary Janes, a pale orange shirt and a plaid unbuttoned button up. She fixes her short hair in a pixie cut one last time and she leaves with a canvas bag.

Vernon feels his heart skipping a beat when he sees Petunia Evans in her date outfit. His mouth goes dry. The sun is making her glow like an angel sent down from heaven.

"You're so bueatiful." Vernon says.

"Thank you. . . You look handsome." Petunia says.

"What did I do to deserve this woman?" Vernon thinks to himself as they walk around the park and do small talk.

『』Molly 'Prewett' Weasley『』

♣︎ Spring of 1954 ♣︎

Molly looks up at her older brothers. "I want the top bunk!" Molly says loudly.

"Mom says no." Gideon says as he puts the the white sheets with pale pink flowers on the twin sized bed.

"You heard mum." Fabian says, "she said that me and Gideon gets the bunk beds and you get the other bed."

Molly pouts and looks away from them.

♣︎ Winter of 1965 ♣︎

"Fabian, how did you apply for college?" Molly asks as she writes down different jobs she might want to do, just like her guidance counselor told her to.

"Uh I just kinda went to different campus tours and applied to the one I wanted to go to. Gideon might be of more help than me though." Fabian says as he stratches the back of his neck. Molly rolls her eyes at him.

"Gideon hasn't been home sense less semester." She points out.

Fabian just shrugs at that point.

"Mum! Please let me hang out with my friends!" Molly says, practically begging.

"Who?" Mum asks cracking an egg into the pan.

"Patsy Finley, Marcia Ryder and Kay Zenith."

"Those girls again?"

"Yes. They are my best friends!"

"No."

♣︎ Autumn of 1968 ♣︎

The leaves were just changing to orange and yellows of picture books. She sighs heavily as she rolls her eyes. An arranged date with a man she hasn't seen sense they were 7 years old. Arthur Weasley.

"I'm only 19. I have plenty of time to settle down. I'm still in college!" Molly thinks to herself as she straightens out her sweater vest. Then she sees the orange haired man.

"Your Arthur, right?" Molly asks him. Arthur nods.

"Sorry that I'm late! I was finishing up my homework." Arthur says his fave flushed.

"College?"

"Yeah, I'm in biology. You?"

"I'm doing Peace Studies and Paleontology." Molly says.

Molly surprisingly doesn't find him annoying.
