Work Text:

For a few days now, one of the rides in the Wonderland SEKAI had stopped working. Since there was no one who did maintenance besides Rui, they hadn’t been able to fix it for a while, but Miku had been begging for him to see what he could do. Knowing he couldn’t do it alone, Rui looked around for someone who could help him, since there should be a second person helping him. He walked around before spotting KAITO sitting on a bench.

“Hey, KAITO,” he said, calling out to him, “are you busy right now?”

“No, not really? Why?” he replied back.

“Could you help me fix the ride? I need a second person to help me out.”

“Oh, yeah, sure!”

Getting up from his place on the bench, KAITO walked over to Rui as the two of them approached the broken Ferris wheel. The problem seemed to be on one of the capsules. Not only that, but the problem was on a higher-up capsule, meaning that they’d have to climb all the way up there. KAITO huffed and shifted his weight. He wasn’t a fan of heights. Rui glanced over at him.

“Are you alright?” he asked, looking worried.

“I’m fine,” KAITO replied, standing still. He didn’t have the heart to tell Rui he needed to use the bathroom right now.

“If you say so….”

Rui looked towards the Ferris wheel and started the climb to where the broken capsule was. It wasn’t that far up, but it was far enough from the ground to trigger KAITO’s fear of heights. Knowing he couldn’t back down now, he followed after Rui. Rui, knowing about this, took a route that made it easier for KAITO to climb up from. They reached the capsule and took their breather there. KAITO wiped his hands on his coat, removing all of the sweat that accumulated on his palms as he climbed. Meanwhile, Rui opened up the toolbox and took out a screwdriver. He stood up, making the weight uneven, sending KAITO against the wall. He jolted and yelped, his bladder faltering. A bit leaked onto his stage uniform as he scurried to hide it from Rui’s sight. Rui, however, had already noticed.

“KAITO,” he huffed, “did you not use the bathroom?”

KAITO hesitated, bringing his legs up to his chest. Rui could tell when he needed to use the bathroom, and he hated it, but since he caught on, he couldn’t lie his way out of this.

“I was supposed to, but Rin and Len occupied me before I could.”

Rui sighed. He stared at KAITO, analyzing his figure. If he was too desperate, he wouldn’t be able to help, rendering this whole thing useless.

“Are you able to hold it a little longer?” Rui asked, looking more concerned.

“I think I can… as long as I don’t move too much…”

He nodded and looked around for what was wrong with the Ferris wheel. Each step he took jostled the capsule and KAITO’s bladder.

“Ah. I think I see the problem,” he exclaimed after a few minutes. “Many of the bolts here are loose, specifically near the top.”

He turned to KAITO.

“Are you able to hold me steady?”

KAITO stared at him like he was insane. Carry Rui?

“I think I can. Hopefully…”

Rui nodded and prompted KAITO to bend down so he could get on his back. He did as said, and Rui clambered onto him. The added weight strained his bladder, making him stumble and almost drop Rui.

“Easy there!” Rui shouted.

KAITO apologized and focused, keeping himself sturdy so Rui could work. Every bolt he tightened made it harder for him to hold on. KAITO bit his lip and whimpered occasionally, only for Rui to respond with an, “I know,” or a, “Hold it a bit longer!”

“Rui, I really have to go,” KAITO confessed, trying his absolute hardest not to squirm. “Can you please hurry up…?”

“Just one more thing…”

He tightened the last bolt and dropped down from KAITO’s shoulders. The sudden weight change in the capsule sent both of them to the floor. Rui yelped while KAITO let out something between a whine and a sob as he immediately compressed his thighs together, both hands shoved between.

“Oh dear,” Rui sighed. “Look, I’ll go climb down and activate the ride so that you can get down. Does that sound good?”

KAITO nodded, tears threatening to spill over. He was definitely past his limit. Rui nodded back, climbing back down to the ground. He found the controls not long after and started the ride back up again. He stopped it when the capsule they were in earlier reached ground level. Rui picked up the toolbox and walked over to KAITO, helping him up.

“Sorry, one more thing — can you carry this back to the tent?”

Not waiting for a reply, he set it down in KAITO’s hands, and that was it.

“R-Rui, wait…! I—“

KAITO didn’t get the chance to finish his sentence as he immediately felt warmth pool around his legs. He dropped the toolbox and ran, crouching down behind a bench while trying to muffle his sobs. All he could do was watch as his uniform got soaked, with it pooling underneath him. Humiliated and mortified, KAITO sank down against the bench and cried, his face burning crimson.
