Chapter Text
Archer
When my eyes fluttered open, the first thing I noticed was the freezing cold. I immediately started shivering, and when I glanced to my side, I noticed a puffy parka that was laying in the snow. That’s odd, I thought to myself as I put the jacket on. Why’s there just a random jacket lying next to me? The more I tried to come up with what had happened and where I was, the more I struggled to think of the past. After about three minutes of self questioning, it seemed as though the last four months of my memories had been erased.
I know now that my name is Olivia Lawrence, and I’ve lived most of my life alone, but that doesn't mean I haven’t taught myself to survive. I unzipped my coat and looked down at my outfit. I saw that I was wearing a pink crop top with baby blue lines streaking across it, as well as shorts with the same pink and blue mixture. Why the heck am I wearing a crop top and shorts in the middle of this frozen tundra? I thought to myself.
I reached an arm behind my back and felt around for my quiver. When I didn’t feel anything, I panicked and started patting the snow around me. After a few moments, my hand made contact with something solid, and after a bit of digging, I pulled my quiver free and hugged it tightly against my chest. The quiver itself was dyed the same pink and blue as my outfit, and the arrows alternated between the two colors. Attached on the side of the quiver there was a foldable bow, which I only ever used for emergencies, but seeing as I had no other bow, I unfolded it and gave the string a quick pluck. I stood up, slung my quiver over my shoulder, zipped up my parka, and began marching up the snowy hill that was to my right, searching for something, or anything, that could clue me in on what was going on.
