Chapter Text
He didn’t hate him. No matter what he would say in frustration and anger -
it was never out of hatred for the other.
Hate was deeply engraved into him -it had been for a long time- he knew it’s destructive nature more than anyone.
Its hateful presence lurking in the back of his mind, never fully letting go of its venomous grip; always ready to take over.
Hate was not the root for his feelings towards the other.
Their few moments shared together were never filled with the ominous presence of hate. It got drowned out in alcohol instead; his temporary barrier for unwanted emotions, as he saw it. It kept his mind on the surface, not digging himself too deep into thought by the wonderful eyes of oblivion beside him.
But as his barrier faded, his past would soon push its way back into his mind - escaping through tears.
In his dreams, he lived a better life. A life without this hurt growing inside him- a life where he could tightly embrace his dearest, one last time.
The dreams never lasted long, he would soon wake up -forgotten- again.
