When the sleep paralysis demon, better known as Eddie, was assigned his new victim, a beautiful man with tanned skin, perfect hair, and the prettiest hazel eyes he’d ever seen on a human, he couldn’t help falling deeply and hopelessly in love. Nevermind the fact that demons weren’t meant for such emotions, strictly speaking.
He resisted for as long as he could but it was inevitable that he’d give in to temptation, finally cracking one night, crawling out of the shadows to finally take that which he desired.

Steve knew he should fear it, the dark being that lurked in his bedroom, that haunted the very corners of his dreams and nightmares, and left him waking with a start night after night, completely frozen, unable to move, speak, or even blink.
But from the moment he caught his first glimpse of the demon, his own beautiful raven-haired dark angel who watched over him as he slept, he felt nothing but safety, and a soul-deep longing.
