“Bluesummers, do this. Bluesummers, do that. Bluesummers, this is wrong. Bluesummers, you are useless.”
Legato smiled mischievously after being slapped on the cheek with a leather whip. He was at the feet of Nai, his owner, his master, while he said things that were painful to hear, kicking the blue-haired man’s hands when he tried to touch himself. Deprived of any existing pleasure.
But Legato was strong. He could do anything without having to follow his own instinct. If Nai Saverem ordered it, Nai Saverem was right.
Bluesummers needed Nai, just as Nai needed him. In fact, he needed the devouring, the obedience, his entire life. And he had it.
Legato wanted to get rid of all of this, yes. He wanted to be free, to think for himself, to do things his way. But he already knew all of Nai’s commands. He had already given himself to him, body and soul, and without knowing it, he was killing himself little by little. Pleasurably. And he couldn't escape.
His leash was pulled from the moment Nai's eyes, clear as the reflection of light against a blade, met Legato's tired and sore ones.
Like a dog, Nai had Legato on a leash. He didn't need anyone else. The perfection in the shape of a semi-human was by his side until he became obsolete and, eventually, useless, or until Nai got tired of that game and discarded him.
Of course, not before seeing him beg at his feet, like a good dog.
And Nai wouldn't get tired of that dog any time soon.
