—Musutafu-Midoriya's apartment's door—
Izuku Midoriya was beyond broken,his eyes were red from crying too much and his mind was still replaying what All Might said:
"I'm sorry young man, but without a quirk you can't be a hero.its okay to dream,but you got to be realistic,kid."
Thinking back then,he doesn't blame All Might for saying that,after all the Hero barely knew him and had no idea what he went through.after saying those words he left Izuku in the rooftop,however somehow his rejection of his dreams did not hurt more than what Katsuki Bakugo said earlier that day:
"if you want to be a hero,then why don't you swan dive from the roof and hope to be born with a quirk in the next life?"
After All Might's rejection he thought about commiting suicide right there,but then he remembered his mother and how devastated she would be if he choose to do so.and so he decided to go back home.during the trajectory he remembered everything bakugo did to him,the insults,the abuse and all he put him through just because he was Quirkless.Resentment that was bottled up until now was starting to show in his face:
-Kaach-no-Katsuki never was my friend...I'm such a idiot for not noticing before...-Izuku reflects and tears starts running down his face,but he controls it so it was not saw by passerby.
He realizes that there's no more reason to keep the bullying secret from his mother.never had a reason since Bakugo was never his friend since he was diagnosed as Quirkless.
"i'l tell her everything that happened since that day,I don't care what happens to him anymore,after all he never cared about me."-Izuku thought with a Somber expression,he really didn't want to do this but after everything that happened today he can't keep hiding his pain from his own mother anymore.
Izuku opens the door and sees his mom in the kitchen preparing dinner.she hears him opening the door and turns the oven off to welcome her son.He closes the door behind him and says:
-M-Mom...I'm Home..and...we need to talk...-izuku said trembling before falling to his knees and starting to cry.
-Welco-IZUKU WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!-Inko screams startled seeing izuku in the ground, with a few burn marks,with a traumatized expression on his face and from what she can see,heartbroken -Who did this to you?
Then she brings him to the couch and hugs her son as he let out all the sadness and pain he bottled up for so long.only after 5 minutes of crying,he looks his mother in the eyes and says:
-It was Bakugo,he berated me in the classroom when I said I wanted to try going to UA High School and he burned my notebook before throwing it to the window-to add insult to the injury Izuku confessed-He also told me to kill myself If I wanted to have a quirk-izuku says resentment in his voice and a expression of betrayed-It was not the first time he did this...ever since I was diagnosed as Quirkless he kept bullying me....
The moment Inko heard what happened,she got so furious that she saw red,but choose to not show it since she was still comforting her son.
-And the teachers?Why didn't they did anything?-she asked since she knew there should have been a reason why she never was told what happened -And why you never told me?
-The teachers and the principal turned a blind eye to everything Bakugo did since he was the "golden boy"who would enter UA -Izuku says sad-And I didn't tell you because I didn't want to be a burden to you,or risk the friendship you have with Auntie Mitsuki.but after what happened today after school...
Izuku told her about the incident with the sludge villain and All Might's rejection of his dreams while being careful on not telling her about All Might's injury.Inko wanted to hit All Might with a frying pan on the face after hearing that her son though of killing himself on the roof,then she says:
-Izuku you will not go back to that school ever again-Inko said with a resolute expression -I will make sure Bakugo and Aldera takes responsibility for their actions,and you will be going to therapy and will start taking classes online, understand?
-yes mom -Izuku said,still sad and tired of all this-just don't make Katsuki go to prison-his mother opened her mouth but he said-make him be punished however you like just don't make him go to prison.I don't want to see him become a villain because of me.
Inko accepts this condition since she knows that Bakugo would not sit quietly if he ever got arrested.
-Ok now izuku please go take a bath and go to bed,I will left the dinner on the table so you eat before going to sleep ok?-Inko says kindly -I will go to Bakugou's house to confront him and make sure he never bothers you again...
-Ok mom,and I'm sorry for being such a pathetic son...-Izuku answers depressed for hiding everything for so long.
Inko hugs her son saying:
-Izuku, you're not pathetic,I never regretted giving birth to you,and more importantly,no matter what anyone says or thinks,you never were and never will be a burden to me-Inko says in reassurance,making Izuku cry even more.
"Don't worry,my son.i'l make sure those who hurt you will face consequences for their actions-Inko thought,already planning on prosecuting that horrible school.
Sometime later....
-???-
Izuku opens his eyes and sees himself in a forest,that he recognizes as a place he and Katsuki entered when they still were good friends.he remembers that he has gone to sleep after eating dinner and saw his mother going to Bakugou's house before going to bed.
-So this is the place where bakugo...-Izuku says before sighing in frustration.
Then a voice said:
-Young man....who bears the Courage and Kindness of my race...-the voice was powerful and warm at the same time,like someone who has authority but also Empathy.
-who said that?-Izuku asks looking around.
The voice said again but coming from the cave close to where bakugo fell on the river.and inside the cave he sees a dragon statue.
-Come to me...if you still wish....to become a true hero...the time has come for the promise your father made with me to be accomplished.-the voice said in a Mysterious tone.
—Musutafu-Izuku's room—
izuku woke up with a gasp,still remembering the dream.at first he thought it was a dream but he still remembers what the voice said:
-come to me if you still wish to become a true hero...the time has come for the promise your father made with me to be accomplished....
Then he decides to go see what his father has to do with it.he wishes to confirm if there was something in the cave,after all that forest was a place that even the heroes never entered.
But izuku barely knew the moment he puts his feet on the cavern his life will forever change....
