Ever since the whole fake archon debacle, Furina has tried to maintain a somewhat regluar life, allowing her humanity to finally take control of her life. Mundane, routinely, yet exactly what the ex-hydro Archon needs after centuries spent in an agonizing play... Even the stalest of macaroni makes it all worth it, in a roundabout way.
Essentially, everything seemed pretty normal. In Fontaine, at the very least...
The frustrated voice of a certain fiery-haired individual rings: "Agh, it's no use! They won't listen to me!" In a neighbouring nation known for wisdom...An unusual sight indeed. Nahida has been replaced by...Mavuika?! The pyro archon herself, now infused with the power of dendro- how could this be? The fiasco that follows reigns all over Teyvat- it seems that all of the other nations except Snezhnaya have a similar problem... Just what exactly is happening?
...Furina learnt of this through the Steambird, and she was certainly intrigued. It seemed like a farce, like some kind of tomfoolery you'd find in a comedy... She had yet to actually see it for herself, really. Although... the star actress herself does recall hearing a few conversations from passing merchants speaking of complications when it came to shipping merchandise to and from the other nations...it would make sense that such chaos would cause issues to the commerce, among other things. Hmm... well, now she's curious- Just what exactly is going on with her ex-colleagues? Oh, she could play detective if she truly wanted to! Plus, perhaps visiting any place other than her own home would do her some good...
Then, it's decided. Tomorrow, she will briefly discuss it with Neuvillette and hopefully depart on her journey!
... It's quite difficult to get a hold of that guy, but Furina, of course, gets to be an exception to the long lists of names awaiting their turn to bear witness to the Iudex, the hydro dragon sovereign himself, Neuvillette. And after a long and grueling chat that felt more like a lecture than anything else- she was actually granted permission to follow through. After all, it could help maintain good relationships with the other nations if Furina were to help out, no? Plus, she was quite insistent... which is besides the point!
Now, she must prepare to head out to the first of five nations: Sumeru.
