Penelope steps outside, for the first time in 20 hours feeling fresh air on her face. Her suitcase is rolling behind her. She’s quiet, everyone is.
The ferry sits, docked and so perfectly near. As soon as there’s service, this is all getting backed up. A bit of editing is needed before making it a proper post. A strand of hair is pushed away.
She’s alive.
