Between Two Sisters

Summary:

Lidia has been kidnapped by Nina Williams in an attempt to get one last dig in at Anna.

Notes:

Lidia and Anna's interactions in Tekken 8 made me ship them now, and I needed to write about them. Also Nina's here because she makes for a fun slimy antagonist, especially when Anna's involved. Enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“Mmmhhh…,” Lidia groaned as she groggily opened her eyes.

“About time you woke up.”

Lidia lifted her head and found herself face-to-face with Nina Williams, the infamous assassin working with Kazuya Mishima. Nina’s pink lips were curled in a smug smirk, and though her eyes were hidden behind her sunglasses, Lidia could almost sense them glimmering in delight. Looking around revealed that they were inside a large, empty warehouse, probably miles away from where she’d been knocked out.

“Whh’tssh th’ssh?” Lidia tried to speak, only to find herself unable to.

She looked down and saw ropes wrapped around her legs and torso, and trying to move her arms confirmed that they were bound behind her back as well. Lidia’s speech was muffled by a balled-up pair of socks stuffed in her mouth, with a big white scarf tied over her mouth and nose, keeping her gagged. Lidia started to thrash around in her bonds, but she was unable to break them no matter how much she struggled.

“WHMM HMMFF GRRMM NNNHH!” Lidia yelled into her gag.

“Sorry about all this, Prime Minister,” Nina chuckled, pushing Lidia down onto the concrete floor, “Don’t worry, G-Corp isn’t taking over your country. I’m here on personal business.”

Nina bent over to whisper in Lidia’s ear, “I know about your affair with my sister.”

“Ahh’nuhh?!” Lidia’s eyes widened at the mention of her girlfriend’s name.

“Indeed,” said Nina, “Kidnapping you was the best way to get her attention. She’s on her way to rescue you right now, and when she arrives, I’ll be ready.”

Lidia glared at her captor, letting out a string of muffled Polish profanities from behind her gag, when the door to the warehouse exploded. Out of the gaping hole in the wall stepped Anna Williams, holding her trusty bazooka Lovely Tom, her face contorted into the biggest death glare the other two women had ever seen. If looks could kill, Nina would be dead.

“Hey there, sis,” Nina laughed cruelly, “I was wondering when you’d show up.”

“Let her go, you bitch!” Anna shouted, pointing Lovely Tom right at her sister’s face, “You’ve taken enough from me before, I’m not letting you take her too!”

“Not so fast, sis,” Nina smirked, pulling out her pistol and holding it against Lidia’s forehead, “You take one more step and I’ll pull the trigger.”

“You do, and Lovely Tom will blow you sky-high!” Anna growled.

“NMMM! NMMM!” Lidia cried out into her gag, hoping Anna would take the hint and run.

“Well?” said Nina, “Give me what I want, and I’ll let your girlfriend go.”

Anna’s eyes met Lidia’s, her rage-filled expression softening as they held each other’s gaze for a bit. With a sigh of defeat, Anna set Lovely Tom onto the ground and took out a small drive from her coat pocket, tossing it at her sister.

“Wow, you’re really giving it up that easily?” Nina asked, her smile widening as she bent over to pick the drive up off the ground.

“Yeah, I am,” Anna huffed, “Now let Lidia go.”

“Mmm…no,” said Nina, placing her index finger on her gun’s trigger, “Sorry, little sis.”

“Grrmm…,” Lidia growled into her gag, glaring daggers at the assassin.

“Very well,” said Anna, slowly reaching into her pocket again, “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use this, but you’ve left me no choice.”

Before Nina could react, the drive in her hand sent out a powerful electric shock that enveloped her whole body, knocking her out almost instantly. As soon as she could confirm her sister was out cold, Anna rushed over to untie Lidia.

“I’m going to guess that wasn’t the real drive,” Lidia said after Anna removed her gag.

“Nope,” Anna smirked, “The real thing’s with your friends, far from her clutches.”

“Thanks for rescuing me,” Lidia smiled, wrapping her newly-freed arms around Anna’s shoulders.

“I’m sorry my sister decided to drag you into one of our family squabbles,” Anna sighed, hugging Lidia back, “She’s been determined to make my life a living hell ever since we were children.”

“So, you’re saying she captured and tried to kill me just to spite you?” Lidia asked.

“Oh, I’m sure G-Corp probably would’ve loved to see you dead, but yes, Nina absolutely nabbed you just to make me suffer more,” Anna nodded, “She murdered my previous fiance a while back, and she knows how much that hurt me, so she’s more than eager to pull that stunt again.”

“I’m so sorry, Anna,” Lidia gasped, hugging Anna even tighter than before, “You don’t deserve to be tormented like that.”

“It’s alright,” Anna smiled, pulling Lidia into a kiss, “I have you, and I’m never leaving your side again.”

“What, you’re appointing yourself as my personal bodyguard then?” Lidia laughed.

“I suppose I am,” Anna chuckled, “With your permission, of course.”

“Permission granted,” Lidia beamed, kissing Anna tenderly.

Notes:

I almost had Reina show up here, but I decided to make this just a Lidia/Anna story for the sake of simplicity. I definitely want to write more about them in the future, so look forward to seeing Lidia and Anna show up sometime soon!
