Chapter Text
3RD PERSON'S POV
akaashi keiji was not having a good day.
he lost a bet with the team on who can help with the funds because bokuto koutarou, their captain, somehow broke the gym walls.
it annoyed him, surely, and he's not gonna lie — he did hold a little grudge on bokuto for it, but he wasn't even surprised anymore.
now he has to stand outside, in one of the hottest days of the year in a hot and humid furry easter bunny costume.
with screaming babies, toddlers, and kids... he had to deal with for 4 hours.
isn't that just great?
akaashi was wearing the classic white easter bunny costume with the violet and yellow vest, holding a basket full of egg chocolates that he surprisingly enjoyed eating a lot.
"get those funds, akaashi!" konoha screamed from the cashier booth while snickering at his misery.
akaashi grumbled in irritation. the setter was supposed to be at the cashier stand instead of konoha due to the fact the manager said he was attractive and would get more people to come to their little easter celebration.
but konoha just had to switch their roles and make akaashi wear the horrific costume and make him take pictures with kids.
fun.
he encouraged himself, it's only an hour left before he can take this easter bunny costume off.
y/n was not having a good day.
her mother had forced her to go to this easter celebration for her little sister. l/n yumi loved chocolates too much.
she wasn't in the mood to go anywhere, but she had to oblige... well, because she loves her little sister.
"sis! i wanna go our school's easter egg hunting! please, please, please!"
and so they arrived at the event.
y/n sighed as she walked to the cashier, who she recognized as konoha from the volleyball team. "two tickets, please." she said as she held yumi's small hand to keep her from running by herself.
after she paid for the tickets, she told yumi, "go on and play. i'll be at the bench right there and look out for you. just come to me if you need anything."
yumi nodded happily and ran along with the little kids, and y/n sighed, finally sitting on a bench and letting out a sigh of relief.
she went on her phone, scrolling mindlessly to kill time while she looked out for her little sister every now and then.
