[COMIC] Heaven Don't Stop the Aegosexual

Work Text:

A depiction of an aegosexual relationship: Crowley and Aziraphale are separated, with Azi at his desk in Heaven, and Crowley with his plants on Earth, but they’re sexting on their mobile devices (Crowley has an aegosexual flag on the back of his phone). Aziraphale texts first (represented by a purple speech bubble): “Stede pressed himself to Ed’s calloused lips. ‘I’ll never leave you.’” Crowley (represented by a darker purple speech bubble): “Ed weakened under Stede’s kiss. His body craved him like a ship yearns for the sea.” Aziraphale: “Ed’s touch was electrifying, filling him with moonlight and brine.” Smaller blank speech bubbles after these texts allude to the continuation of their Our Flag Means Death roleplay. Another panel of Crowley shows him smiling and texting: “You’re a zillion light years away, but at least our sex life doesn’t have to change.” With a wink emoji at the end. A panel of Aziraphale with a satisfied smile. Aziraphale responds: “Cheeky bastard! Morpheus and Hob next time?” Crowley: “Hell yeah!”

This is a continuation of my first aegosexual comic, this time created for Ace Omens 2! Good Omens might be the best rep of asexual partners in all of fiction and they helped me find my own pride in asexuality a lot.

Aegosexuality is what I identify with in particular. It's a branch of asexuality defined by a lack of desire for physical partnered sex, but an enjoyment of sex as distinct and different from the self (like, imagining fictional characters, instead of you, performing your fantasies). There's not enough aego visibility out there in the world, so I'm doing my bit! 🖤🤍💜
