Gem and Joel wher walking back to their home but when they got back…
“When did this happen!”
“We need to see what got damaged”
Whales Joel was worrying who and when. Gem was worrying about if their items were burnt in the fire.
The barn had been burned down. the only thing left being the roof and, char support beams holding it up. The car was left unharmed the only major damage is the bite marks left by Tango.
They cud rebuild the barn but, it’s late and they haven’t slept for days because of the snails…
Tho Gems not very happy about it they should sleep in the car. Joel was happy the car was being appreciated, or a lest tolerated.
Gem tried reclined the passenger seat, but there was a chest in the way. She opened it to find nothing. It was empty. she opened the door and carelessly threw it out, on to the grass. She settled in to her seat, and bed for the night.
Joel climbed in the driver side. Gem looked over at him.
“I got some blankets and pillows”
Joel held up the blankets and dropped them in between them. Gem fished out a soft blanket and a quilt. Joel grabbed a pillow and a blanket ether crocheted or knitted she can’t tell. They got somewhat comfortable. Joel double checked that the doors were locked. Before falling asleep.
