Work Text:
Edd
-He's chunky and could pick up people and things if needed
-I imagine him at around 210 and not any bigger
-He has much more patience than Tord, Tom, and Matt combined
-He drinks different types of colas, not always the same one, depending on price
-He has an old pick-up truck named “Denty.”
-He isn't gay but is supportive.
-He got into the emo aesthetic through tord
-His dad spoils him a bit
-Only touchy with tord
Personal notes
I will genuinely use edd as a calmer or an equalizer. It's not always that I will, but he will be used as such in some stories but i want to use him in different ways too.
Tord
-Classic era design will be kept
-His trench coat design will be kept
-The hentai and violence aspect will stay
-Not gay
-His personality will vary in each story but will always be eccentric
-If I was going to ship him in a story, I would have him with Edd for a semi-heathy reaction and with Tom would be abusive.
He's a very moldable character, but I won't write him completely out of character (the violence aspect won't be written out of him)
Personal note
In a writing aspect, I find him very moldable in what I do with him since I enjoy a good challenge with one with an accent and from an entirely different country and finding ways to incorporate his violent aspects and hentai addiction into what I write.
Matt
-Arrogant and ignorant
-Cares more about his looks
-He cares about his friends, mainly Edd
-Has no clue what to think of Tord
-Has a corvette
-He is somehow emo but leans more into the materialistic side of it
-Greedy
Personal notes
I usually try to keep an open mind, but it's very hard to do so with little to work with since I'm only using the classic era of Eddsworld as a reference (I'm sorry, I just can't stand anything after that era, especially Legacy)
Tom
-Loves Smirnoff
-Generally gets along with everyone unless tord pulls some dumb shit
-Tord's mere existence makes him want to die
-Hates Christmas but bears with it
Personal note
Like Tord, I do see him as very moldable, especially with the Smirnoff involved since being drunk makes a person act differently.
