Izuku was sitting on the common room couch, leaning against his boyfriend. They were reading their books together, simply enjoying being in each other's company. It was nice, finally having a day to relax after so many villain attacks. For once, they could just sit and read without having to worry about getting attacked at any second. He took a moment to admire the content expression on his boyfriend's face. Shouto looked so peaceful, a rare sight. Izuku smiled and went back to reading his book. The two boys stayed like that for hours.
Eventually, they decided to spend the rest of their day cuddling in Izuku's room. Shouto had fallen asleep with his head on Izuku's chest. The smaller boy ran his fingers through Shouto's hair, smiling contentedly. He stirred a little, doing his best not to wake his sleeping boyfriend. Shouto moved slightly, but didn't wake up. He began to trace patterns on his back, but almost stopped when Shouto twitched, a wobbly smile on his tired face. Oh. Izuku resumed tracing patterns on Shouto's back, watching him try to contain his giggles.
"Midoriya, stohop," he said tiredly. "But you look so adorable when you smile!" Izuku replied, grinning when Shouto blushed. "I can't believe I didn't know you were ticklish," he said, bringing his hands down to scribble at his boyfriend's sides. "Midorihiya, plehehehease! Stohohop ihit alreheheheady!" Shouto giggled, lightly batting Izuku's hands. He took in the sight, Shouto's face was flushed, and he was genuinely laughing. He looked like a god. "Do you really want me to stop?" he asked cheekily. "Izuku plehehehease!"
He stopped after hearing his first name, recognizing that Shouto was being genuine. They both fixed the blankets and went back to snuggling under the covers. The two boys soon fell asleep to the sound of each other's heartbeats, awaiting the next day.
