It's a nice quiet morning as Will sits on the porch with his mug of coffee. It was Saturday and he was glad for the quiet time alone while his brother and one of his boyfriends were still asleep, or at least not yet out of the room they had slept in the night before. Frankie was out picking up his daughter for their weekends together. Will was looking forward to when they would come back, sometime after lunch, he enjoyed having Fish’s kid, who the men had taken to calling Goose (as she had demanded to have a nickname like them), running around the house when he had her each weekend.
“Hey, I’m going to make breakfast for any requests? Ben asks from the doorway. Will looks over to his younger brother, who while shirtless at least throws on some sweatpants before heading to the door.
“Just don’t make a mess, I would like to get some baking done today but if I have to clean up the kitchen twice it’s differently not happing.”
“Fine eggs it is,” Ben says before heading from the doorway and towards the kitchen. Will decides he’s done with alone time and gets up to follow his younger brother inside the house. When they had bought this place Will just thought they’d both be the only ones who would live here but then Columbia had happened. And now here they were both dating Fish and Pope and getting to help keep Fish’s daughter entertained and out of trouble on the weekends. It was better than Will could have ever dreamed of.
“Sleep well?” Ben asks as he starts pulling out a pan.
“Yeah, why?”
“I could tell by the fact your door wasn’t fully closed that you weren’t still in bed. And yeah I know you like you’re morning coffee time but given the sounds coming out of Fish’s room last night I figured you’d be out for another hour.”
“Fish woke me up when he was getting up so I figured I’d just get up with him,” Will says before adding “Sorry if we were too loud.”
“Oh please me and Pope were enjoying it while we cuddled after we both finished so no harm no foul.”
“You know I should maybe be a little more embarrassed that my younger brother heard me having sex from across the hallway.”
“Maybe but it’s not like you didn’t walk in on me sucking Jeremiah off in my room when I was like fifteen.”
“Don’t remind me.” Ben starts pulling out of the fridge and in that moment it hits Will how proud of man his younger brother has become. Not because he thought Benny wasn’t cable of of it. Will honestly believes Benny could do anything he wants to and yet Ben had chosen to be a MMA fighter while living in house with his bother.
“So what’s the plan?” Ben asks after a while.
“The plan for what?” Will asks
“Oh come on Will I know you and Fish were talking about how you have an idea of what you to do for your birthday. And as your younger brother, I’m determined to make it happen.”
“How do you know we weren’t just using it as a cover to talk about something else?”
“Fine then I’ll just throw you a surprise party.” Will cringes at the thought, he’s never liked the idea of people making a big deal out of his birthday or himself for that matter.
“Fine, you win. I asked Fish if would check and see if his ex is ok with my birthday being also be Goose’s first camping trip. If not then I’ll have to think of something else cause I’m not going to take time away from him getting to see his daughter because I want a camping trip. Besides she’s just as much a part of our little family and really all I want for my birthday is spending the weekend with y’all.” Just then hands warp their way around Will.
“God such a sap,” Pope says
“Well good morning to you,” Will says moving one of Santiago hands to place a kiss to the tan skin.
“Pope there will be breakfast in a few.”
“Aww, thanks, Benny. Pope says before nuzzling more into Will. “You should have joined us in bed when Fish left. How are you always this warm?” Santiago says before yawning.
“Oh is someone still sleepy?” Will playfully teases.
“You could have stayed in bed you know? And I would have brought you breakfast in bed.” Ben quickly adds.
“Yeah, but I heard you both down here and as much as I love sleeping in these days I love being around you both more.” Will move the shorter man so that he’s in front of Will. Pope then moves to his tiptoes to kiss Will it’s lazy, sweet, and absolutely perfect for this very chill Saturday.
“Get a room you two,” Ben teases. Will flips Benny off and Pope laughs at the Millers being peak siblings.
“Now come on Benny don’t be jealous. After breakfast, I’ll give you a thank you blow job if you want.”
“Thanks for the offer but I’ll cash it in Monday night when I can take my time with you without Goose overhearing us. Since I'm guessing you and Frankie are going to want to take Will apart, Sunday night.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
“And you joked that we needed a room,” Will says and Pope laughs before giving Will another kiss.
“God I love you both.” Santiago says with such a content smile on his face that it makes Will’s heart flutter with how happy he is that he gets to see it.
“Love you too.”
“Ok food’s ready.” Ben says as he grabs three plats out form the cupboard. Santiago moves into the kitchen stopping to kiss Ben. And god Will loves that he gets moments like this ever weekend. Just the people he loves most in the world with no real plans, maybe they’re all a little too codependent but after everything they’ve been though it’s not a bad trade off.
A few hours latter the font door opens and if that didn’t make it clear that Fish was back home the sound of Goose running into the living room would have given them away.
“Benny!!” The girl yells looking at Will and Pope sitting on the couch.
“He’s out for a run, Goose but he’ll be back soon.” Pope says. She looks very sad, Ben’s her favorite and they all know it. Fish walks in then and she looks over at her dad.
“When Benny gets back can we play outside?”
“If Benny wants then yeah you guys can,” Frankie says.
“Ok.” The little girl then plops herself on the couch in between Will and Santiago.
“So it’s a no-go on the trip.” Fish says as he sits on the other couch. “But she said she’s ok taking her if we still want to go.”
“Frankie I told you if she’s not ok with it then we can just doing something else it’s fine.”
“Ok well just let us know what you want to do.” Fish says even if they all know that it’s likely that Will won’t.
A few minutes later Ben comes back.
“Benny!!” The younger girl screams with joy as she hops off the couch and runs to greet Ben.”
“Oh hey, goose.” He says pulling her up into his arms.
“You were out for a run when Daddy and I showed up.”
“Yeah I was but I’m here now.”
“Can we go outside and play? Daddy said we could.”
“Yeah, what do you want to do?”
“We could play frisbee.”
“Yeah we can do that. Anyone want to join us?” Ben said looking to the other adults. Will stands up from the couch.
“Yeah if Goose is alright with me joining.”
“Yay, Will and Benny!!” Goose than runs towards the hallway storage where they keep the outdoor play toys.
“You two have fun.” Pope says as Fish moves from the couch he had been sitting on to join Pope before adding “And Will you better come up with another idea or I’ll let Benny throw you a surprise party.” Will sighs but quickly heads outside to join Ben and Goose.
A few weeks later it’s the day before Will’s birthday, which happens to fall on Sunday this year so he has all weekend to do things with his favorite people. Will wakes up with Santiago’s arms warped around his waist and his head resting on top of Will’s. Will feels a little guilty moving from Pope’s warmth, but god does he need to take a piss. So he tries to move but Pope only holds on tighter.
“Nope sorry love your cute birthday ass is stuck here till I get the all-clear text,” Santiago says placing a kiss on Will’s head.
“Oh no, what is Ben doing?”
“It’s really sweet I promise, heck I’m annoyed it was his idea and not mine.” Santiago then places a kiss to Will’s lips and the blond hems in contentment.
“Ok, but I do have to pee so you can at least let me up for that.”
“Fine but be quick I want as many morning cuddles as we can squeeze in.”
“Well, I’ll never say no to your request for cuddles so I promise I’ll be right back.”
About a half hour latter they get the go ahead from Ben and the men get up to dress. Although it took them longer than normal as Pope can’t kept his hands off of the taller man.
“The second Fish takes his girl home I’m going to take you apart birthday boy.” The lust in Pope’s eyes sends a shiver down Will. They manage to get downstairs and Will stops dead in his tracks when he sees that the living room has been moved and where the couch and coffee table had been was now a decent-sized tent. The tent door opens and out comes Goose running.
“Will do you like the surprise?”
“Yeah, I do. Did you help Uncle Benny?”
“Yep.”
“She was very helpful,” Benny says coming out from the kitchen with two coffee mugs one he hands to Pope and the other to his older brother. I know this wasn’t what you had in mind when you said you wanted to go camping for your birthday.”
“This is perfect Ben thanks.”
“Of course, you’re my big brother and you did so much to make my birthday special growing up. It’s time somebody did it for you.” The older Miller pulls his brother in for a side hug if only to keep his coffee from spilling. Fish comes into the house with a box of donuts from the local shop down the road.
“Happy birthday weekend Will,” Frankie says handing the box to Benny before walking over to kiss Will.
“Thanks, Fish.”
The rest of the weekend is perfect and Will can’t believe his luck once again that this is his life now. Although he’s looking forward to sleeping in his own bed, while the sleeping bags on the floor had been more comfortable then the ground outdoor. It had caused Will to wake up with a bit of headache, witch luckily hadn’t been too bad given how bad some of his headaches can get with his head injury.
It’s now just after dinner and Santiago and Will are cuddling on the couch now that all of the furniture has been put back. Benny and Fish are making sure everything from dinner, which had been homemade burgers, is put away along with making sure everything that needs to go back to Frankie’s ex’s house is in the overnight bag.
“Did you have a good birthday?” Santiago asks placing a kiss to Will’s neck.
“Yeah, I spent it with my favorite people who went out of their way to make this work.”
“We all you so much and while we all try to tell you all the time your birthday is a wonderful excuse for us to go all out.” Will blushes at that he knows they love him but hates the attention.
“Ok.” Ben states to get the men on the couch’s attention, “I’m heading out with Fish so you guys can have some fun. Don’t get us another noise complaint from the neighbors.” Will’s bush deepens as Santiago’s hand moves under Will’s shirt. Ben turns to go but Will grabs his hand.
“Hey, Ben,” Will says and his brother looks down at him. “This weekend was the best birthday I’ve had in a really long time, and I’m so thankful for your idea. You’re a good man Benny.”
“Love you too big brother. Glad you enjoyed your birthday.”
